I've entered in Business Local Maps with Google, and in Google's Directory, and thats about it. I don't know where else to go to get links from Google to my site. I do not write articles, and I haven't much time for blogs and forums. What can I do to get more links????

directories and link exchange are the main two for getting links.

Directories:
Search google for some general ones and some in your niche

Link exchange:
First you want to check you competitors sites and see who they link with and try to get them or close to.
Second you want to search for sites in the same niche that are relitive sites.

Once you have a nice little list eamil them asking for a link exchange. (you should try to make the email professional but personal too so they connect with you as a person not just a website)

As for the blogs and articals you dont need to do your own! join in on other peoples post some good helpful replys and people will look at your site (dont spam your links or most will ban). Add news to your site which will also help.

As noted... reverse engineering competing pages link profiles is a great start as is foundational link building such as;

That should be plenty to get ye going... there are truly a TON of ways to get links... (we haven't even started on Social Media/Networking)... just takes some creativity!!

Blog commenting is one good source of one way link, but be sure to comment on do follow related blog.. for google to consider it as a backlink...

ok here's the thing... you do nothing, you'll get nothing. of course if you want your site gain backlinks, you have to build links for it. if you have don't have time, all you have to do is to throw some money to somebody who can do it for you. hire a link builder or someone who is knowledgeable enough in seo to help your site do have inbound links.

Blog commenting in do follow blogs
forum postings with signature in it

Build backlinks by yourself,such as bookmarks,article submission,forum post.

you have to get relevant and high page rank forum posting

I am sure forums postings will be good method to do so.
I have got some good traffic to my <url removed by admin> via Google with the help of forums postings...

I agree this is not the way to get quality backlinks.

Forums posting is a way to get your company or site a good name for your niche and to show people that your a company that cares not just someone after links and extra cash like you are coming across by posting such comments

I heard about link exchange, it seems that Google doesn't like link exchange. Can you explain us more about that. All in all, is it useful or not to do exchange?

Link exchange.. Its one of the easiest way to get quality of back links.. But of course you have to exchange links with relevant sites of course..

i that's your attitude there's no way you can get inbound links for your site. if your willing to give your site some backlinks, then you should have determination, goal and patience. forum posting, blog commenting, social bookmarking and article submission are the best ways to gain quality backlinks. if you can't do it, you can hire services to some experts.
