Well your site is looking great but one thing which I noticed is you raise the price of product and than deduct it and showing this as discount ...

Do you really think that visitors are fool ... with such they will escape from landing page. Put some realistic price ... so that they do not feel like get scammed ...

Unfortunately I have no control over the prices. Those are manufacturer suggested prices and are posted by my suppliers. The only thing I have any control over is the discounted price and there is a maximum amount I can deduct. Right now I am at maximum. However I will forward your e-mail to my suppliers and see what they say. Thank You for your input.

Mate I am really surprised to see that even now people are making online store. Do you really think that this kind of website will be hit now or you are expecting that you will made any sales from this website.

Plus as above our co members stated that your price is bit high and I do not think that people will visit again after seeing your price.

Invest your time and labour to some other niche.

More and more people are shopping online now. This was propably not the best time to start, but the economy will not be bad forever, and when it recovers I will be better established, even if it is two or three years from now. When you say the prices are too high are you referring to the supplier posted prices or the store discounted prices? Are there any items in particular that you think are too high, or is it the entire store in general. If you have any item in particular you want me to look at, please reply with a link to the item. When I google some of the items, I have found them to be not much different than anyone else.

Not saying I have the lowest price on everything, but my prices are not unreasonably high either. I would like to be around for a long time and that will not happen if I do not provide good service or if I try to rip people off. I will guarantee that my pricest or the lowest possible without selling at a loss.

I looked around a little and I agree with the other person that posted to get rid of those "manufacturers pricing numbers and the "you save dollars and percent"

They absolutely have to go - Nobody wants to read all that it just muddies up the water and makes the site look less trustworthy.



I'm looking at the Home and garden section and I see what looks like a red blanket but its called a "Gfthbu"  ????

I'm looking at a clock hanging from a decorative hook that's called a "Hhwc2" ????

Sporting goods page has a "Spbset2" No idea what that is... But you have 1,399 of them.

I think I would also get rid of the In Stock Quantity
Potential customers don't need to see that and its also make your site look less trustworthy because you have so many of this but none of that... Too much reading of uneeded info. The space could be put to better use with better descriptions of products so you can make the sales.

Sorry but, as it is now I would not buy anything from this site.

I have asked my site administrator if he can make these changes for me and received the following reply

At this time we don't have an option to remove the QTY in stock and to remove the list price when you change the prices, but we will be more than happy to forward your request to our design team.

I hope to get this done, I will keep working on it. I appreciate your insights.

I will need to make a list of the weird names and give them the names I want. Hopefully I can do this in the next few days.

You do realize that trust is not an issue if you use a credit card right? If you do not get the item all you have to do is call your credit card company and they will cancel the charge. If I had to rely on trust I would never buy anything online. Like I said before, I would like to be around for a very long time and I can't do that if I don't provide what the customer wants, this is why I am asking for website ideas. After all if you want to know what the customer wants you have to ask the customer, right?
Right now I am going to work on adding name decriptions to the style numbers and I will work with my web administrator to work out the other issues such as stock quantity. I may be new with the website but I am not new in the sales department. I have 25 years experience in the field of sales. If you see something you like and if it has a lower price than anywhere else, give me a try, you really have nothing to lose. Anyway I appreciate your taking the time to look at my site and trying to help me with it.

The only problem I see is your title. It's too plain and small. Also the products have no description when you click on them. Those should be included so the customer knows what he is buying.

I will have to look at the title again. Most of the products have descriptions and I am working on the few left that need one.

This has been around for a while, Mate, and gone nowhere.

Seems to me there are two issues:

1)  Targeted traffic to the site.

2)  Converting visitors to customers.

While some of the other issues raised may have some bearing on conversions, they are mainly peripheral. Concentrate on the main game.

So how are you going with the main issues of your site, traffic and conversions?

Targeted traffic comes first. You won't make many conversions without targeted traffic.

I find your site to be very graphic intensive some pages I am not loading all the images. I am on a slower connection, but I am not the only one. Some pages only the boarders of the tabs were loading, and product images. Also in some cases to much freedom is no freedom at all, that is how I feel when I am on your website. I think you are offering way to many products and should scale it down. As well I would remove item code numbers from the titles of your products. Code numbers are beneficial to you but not to the customer. I also cross referenced the prices of some your electronics and they do check out, so your price seem okay to me.

The overall look is good but I kept having problems with freeze-up when clicking on links. Maybe you're pages are too large, making for a long load time.

One other thing is, I'm a bit confused as to why you'd want to put advertising for other shops down the left side of the page; unless of course they're ones you own.
