Hey Mike,
We discussed Cuil here: http://forums.site-reference.com/viewtopic.php?id=7827
think most agreed it has potential but still has a way to go
I've heard about it for the first tmie ...
well how this is the World's Biggest Search Engine?
if it is that much popular, then why it is not being discussed as widely as google/yahoo/MSN?

It is because they have more pages/websites indexed than anyone else in the world... it pretty much ended there, bigger IS NOT better....
At this time, it is very difficult to beat Google, Cuil is far behind, even yahoo and msn combine ca'nt beat Google.
Even I never came across cuil before... I didn't got the conclusion... Its good or not??
A lot of people doesn't know about cuil that's the reason why they can't be google's rival.. they may have the potential but still they have a long way to run.
Some said it is threat to google.. But I don't think so.. No SE can dethrone Google..

I wouldn't bother to check it out a while ago, although I found it totally useless.
Cuil even made me research about the "CrawlDelay" directive for robots.txt - sometimes they spider sites way too enthusiastic
