Well, I was aware that theGypsy was doing an interview with one of his SEO mates and it was to be published on Monday morning: http://www.yourseomentor.com/seo/monday … dave-harry Busting I was, to hear it, not because of what our friend might say, but in order to hear what his voice sounds like. By the time it's Monday morning in Canada, it's nearly Tuesday in Australia. He didn't sound like I'd expected, but the excitement was all there, too right!
Then on Tuesday I had reason to phone our friend matte to be walked through some stuff. Matte sounds like a young fella, not yet 30. Much more involved on the phone than the careful and considered person whom we know in text.
I quite enjoyed the revelations of the hidden aspects of these two people. This, of course, brings me to the point: In this modern age of internet communication it can be expected that we'll hear the voice of those we communicate with. And if SR is to keep up we need to hear some voices through the forum.
Well, you can all follow the link and hear theGypsy. Maybe we could have some more podcasts or perhaps some docos on UTube. Maybe just a video.
Ya know, you can get a vidio file of yourself with a digital, still camera. Just hold it out with your left hand, thumb on the knob, and talk.
Ooh! It would be great to hear what you all sound like!
Regards,

You? Well you sound like an old codger at the other end of an empty shipping container - especially when you were at the other side of the room on speaker phone!!
Talkative - maybe LOL I don't get to talk to anyone much during the day

Here's an interview I did way back in about '99 or 2000 with Jon Lord from Deep Purple.
http://www.andymoore.info/audio/john-lord-interview.mp3
Jon Lord was the nicest chap I ever interviewed down a line!
Personal pictures as forum avatars give this place a nice personal feel, maybe the ability to upload a personal intro in mp3 format as an addition to user profiles. would build upon that.

It's kind of weird because you just don't think about accents on forums.
Ok, here's me...
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid … &hl=en
It's a South African Magazine Show on which they interviewed me earlier this year. Before you watch it, just a few things in my defense...
1) I'm not really that fat in real life I swear it was the lighting or something!
2) If it looks like I'm in pain when I smile, it's because mentally I was! Initially I refused the interview because I was so terrified, but my husband convinced me to do it for the sake of marketing the company...I was so nervous, I really should have smoked a doob or something before going into the studio! haha
BTW, my husband said I should tell you all that "I am the hot one with the cleavage" ... love is blind
