The design of the site is very pleasing and appealing at first glance. I am not an expert in the technical side of site design but the problem I see, however, is that the site seems to be provided by a cheap hosting service?

If you are going to invest time and money in a website, the hosting has to be good quality. No matter how good the actual design is, it will not achieve high ranking in search engines if it doesn't have a reliable host.

The other thing you need to improve is the quality and quanitity of your text - I have responded to you through the site with more detail on this.

Google and other search engines don't recognise pictures and ads, they only really recognise words. It is no good just adding in a few keywords either because when you do get hits, your visitors will not stay around for long. Your really need good, well written copy with well chosen key words to convey your message and get your website noticed.

But great for doing something - its a good cause to be publicising.
