Hello everyone,
I happened to experience fluctuations for my client's website last week with ranking drops from page 1 to no where! I posted a thread relating to this problem. The site is back thank God and it seems Google is going through an updated.

A wmw thread also points to these changes on the UK front:

Any data changes on your side?
Thank you

Fluctuations are normal, since you have no control over a search engine its best to stay focused on things you do have control over.

But there's a pretty good answer on Digital Point:
Do you guys/girls realize that the SERPs ( your search engine rankings ) change everyday? It also depends what data center you are hitting on when you search.
These threads are crazy.

Laurie.

No its not about spam, its about findings. The reason for discussion on various forums is to see which forums has best people who like to discuss about certain issues which may require attention. Its your choice, answer it or leave it. About you quoting others:

Here is exact answer:
for your kind information SERPs don't change on daily basis for dropping from page 1 to nothing!!!. Minor fluctuations may not raise flags. But the reason for starting this discussion was "did any one of your experienced drop in your established position for 5-6 months and suddenly its gone?". I have experiencing fluctuations for my position for last 1 week.
But I found out the reason for it.
My site is back on its position but with some thing new added to it. The "Stumble Upon" tags. I monitor my results regularly and these tags were no where there for the past 1 year or so. Anyways, I have noticed change for my SERPs but not PR.
Thank you
Little or no experience has nothing to do with findings or observations.

Well, i understand where you are coming from but you should see us on real life topics... we whip ass. If however you are just looking for someone to have a very very in depth discussion about search engines and forms of marketing you should try get in one with Dave (the Gypsy)... He can be baited by starting a thread claiming that everytime you get +1 Page Rank you start getting exactly 1000 more visitors a month. Or something like that
