Okay, so I was wondering, can I put any video key words in here and get ads for things? and money for clicks? I mean even if I put in "Zelda Ocarina of Time" and just got Zelda videos I would still get paid for each person who watches one? Or will I only get paid for "premium content"?

G'day SoraCross.
Google Adsense is not the pot of gold that some expect. I suppose that applies to other forms of website advertising, also.
I suggest that you sign up with Google and get some experience, as a starter, on your quest for fortune to go with the fame.
Targeted traffic. People who click on ads on your site are people who come to your site, looking for what the ad promises. Google places the ads according to what the website promises.
CTR (click through rate). You might get a CTR of 3%. That means three clicks for every 100 visitors. Your payment might be between 5 cents and 30 cents per click. So at an average of fifteen cents per click, that would give you an income of 45 cents for every 100 page impressions.
By knowing how many visitors and how many page impressions per day you get, you'll have some idea of how close you are to the pot of gold.
I'd suggest that you'll need 1,000 visitors per day before you'll make enough money to justify the effort of having the Google ads or any other kind of ads.
So if your monthly stats are not up around the 30,000 mark, the question becomes "What are you going to do the get your traffic up?"
Best wishes,
Laurie.

To give you an idea of google revenue I work on a golf web site - top in most google searches -
My adsense stats for may
Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM [?] Earnings
31,878 656 2.06% $6.28 $200.19
we only use google as an addition to paid for adverts and even here the value of the advertising space is dirrectly affected by the amount of traffic and its relevancy to the advertiser
I just want to know if I can put any video in and get paid or if I have to use premium content. o.o

Hey SoraCross!
Sounds like you want to become an affiliate marketer for a pay per download video site.
Check out these sites and see if they have an affiliate programme.
Keep in mind the advice above that you need to be attracting targeted traffic. Will your site be attracting people who want to play your free games, people who want to build on your code or people who want to download a video?
Regards,
Laurie.

Yes, thank you, but I know this. I could install Youtube ads on my site right now if I wanted to. I can find other ad companies. Sorry if I sound ungrateful or rude, but I am apparently failing to communicate my question correctly, so I am trying to point out what I already know so you don't go through the trouble to tell me things I know.
Anyway, while I was in the middle of putting Youtube videos on my site I came to a screen where I could enter key words for random videos to show up, or choose some "premium content" use profiles. What I am asking is this:
If a person clicks on a Youtube video ad on my site that isn't owned by one of the "premium content" use profiles will I get paid? Or does it have to be a video from a "premium content" use profile in order for me to get paid?
I already know that Google won't pay me until I get >$100, and I know a check well be sent to my house. I am asking if I will get money for that single ad click if it's a normal video playing at the time of the click.
I think this should be a yes or no question, so if it doesn't sound that way please tell me what parts I am phrasing wrong.(I am also aware that I need to work on my communication skills.) Sorry if this sounds mean.

Most advertisers won't send you a check unless you've earned $50 or more. Google it's $100 or more. But in any case if you don't have 100 to 200 people a day or more visiting your site is not going to matter whether you place adds or videos adds on your site. You're not going to make any money.
As a rule of thumb for every 50 people who visit your site may be one or two may click on an ad. If you going to depend on video adds and Google or Yahoo adds as your income you better figure out how to get to 1000 people a day to visitors site or you going to starve to death.
If you're using you YOU TUBE for your video ads I would check with them on there ad program.
Best of luck
