I'm quickly seeing a problem with my site... (help?)
It started out as just a Programming site, and now it's suppose to focus on website design (showing off what I can do. Focused on by the themes) and a review site. Also, the forums are kinda general purpose. Should I split my site into multiple sites when I get the chance? I guess I'm going too fast for myself. I think it would be a good idea to have a lot of sits, but not until I am actually making money per site. as it stands I can't afford even one domain, let alone three or four. Still, I'm worried that my site is off focus right now. Can anyone help me?

Re: I'm quickly seeing a problem with my site... (help?)
A domain only cost about $10 (US) a year. Of course hosting does cost more, but can cost as little as a McDonald's lunch once a month.
As someone else on a tight budget, I think you might want to learn more about optimizing and marketing on this forum, first. (Gypsy has an e-book on SEO -- tells you all of what you need to know, but, if you're anything like me, it might take a few reads to understand. Already being more computer literate then I, it might be a lot easier for you, though.) Possibly need to know how to run the kind of business you want to do, too, so you know if you have the personality to be a business owner. Running your own business really cuts down on hobbies and socializing. Starting out can also cost you sleeping time and weekends, too. Worse yet, it may end up always being like that, since most people hiring a service, want what they wanted 10 minutes before they ever even thought that they needed it. That's part of what you have to decide about, before even starting.
Once you're ready to go full-force, pick which service you want to focus on the most. Use the URL for that part. Once that's making you enough to live on (which also includes enough to pay for the supplies you need, your office space -- even in your own home, since that's useful at tax time - and marketing (not in that order), then you can expand your services, and decide at that point if you want it all as one business, do it as a multitude of businesses, or skip some, because you don't really like doing it, but it could make you some money.
Hope that helped you a little.
