Additional Comments
Hi,
I launched this site with a partner in December 2007. We both come from corporate retail backgrounds so for us this was a real leap of faith. We came up with the concept early in 2000. At that time we secured the domain and protected the idea. Owing to a change in personal circumstance for us both in 2007 (both having taken the leap to run our own businesses) we decided the time was right to get our idea out the dusty box. A lot of hard work later and many payments for licences we are up and running. We still have some further work to with some new games going live in February but it's a start. We are not experts in the field of on-line gaming nor web design and would appreciate all and any feedback. In the first few weeks we have spent most of our time ironing out coding problems with the back end so any obvious spots on the front end would be much appreciated
Thanks for looking
Pete
I love your site! Did a free registration and the confirmation mail arrived immediately.
Did a free play and the selection worked immediately. I might try another one nearer the match day! It seems extremely simple to use and play.
Incidentally, I'm a Mac user and used Mac Os 10.4 under the browser Safari with no problems whatsoever.
Good luck,
pjd.

Hi there,
First impression was that this was a Uk National Lottery rip off site. I guess that's why you chose the colours. This is the kind of site that I would leave right away. I shall try to explain why.
I don't think there is anything unique about using the colours of the national lottery.
I don't like piggy backing.
The "This weeks draw jackpot", I just shook my head at this as it's almost a complete copy of what is says on national lottery homepage.
That was my first impression gaz and pete. But first impressions matter. Once into the site I did like the content and the blog. Had I been a normal punter I am afraid I would have added to the bounce rate. I can only suggest you have a complete colour change to something that is not so blatant.
I would also suggest that you guys be careful and I mean this in a friendly way, if Camelot get wind of your site then you could have problems.
All the best,
Pete

After extensive research of the market we chose primary colours as these were more relevant to football and gaming.

We have not piggy backed anything or any site. This is our design which is unique and bespoke. We have not gone a brought an off the shelf template.

We are in the same industry. If you call up 100 gaming sites you will notice that they all have similar language. This will be partly driven by the Gambling Commission regualtions. We are more than satisfied with our copy .

We love the colour. The feedback we have received has been brilliant. Thank you for your advice but we will continue with our primary colours.

We have no concerns over copy right, trade mark or design patent but thank you for your interest.
All the best,
Pete
Pete, appreciate you taking the time to feedback. We realise that we will never be able to please all. Since you liked the BLOG would you like to add to our Slap Head Challenge?
Thanks again
