Well DUH.... who ever said that there wasn't a need for a full balanced marketing plan? Man, a year ago I didn't even know what a Social Media Marketing campaign was, now it enters the fold as far as services I provide...

..the rub is, and the reason SEO still gets play, is that it is still the long term most effective form of search marketing as far as traffic and conversion rates. This is why folks chase it.... not because there aren't other options out there.

As for the Ferrarri, I am still a guy working with SMBs, not likely to get rich that way, but I enjoy the personal contact with the business owner as opposed to corporate red tape. I know a few wealthy SEOs and see many (lesser IMO) SEO types that charge more... oh well... I enjoy my lot in life (for now)

The biggest challenge with marketing is persuading clients (villa owners) that you can offer them a service, which is good value for money, has great support and customer care.

Nice one Bill, amazing how logical it all seems right at the end... in the twist.

Tell you what though, there is only one person i would ever consider actually "paying" to do some seo for my sites - the only reason i havent is because the people who own the sites are to shnoop and all think it a game of who has the prettier site.   - therefor i can only picture a few SEO magnates in ferraris and the rest in fiat panda's
