Getting rankings is a different issue over web design. Though, if you have a web that is pleasing, easy to use, informative, helpful and authoritative. People will come back and  even refer your site to others.

You mention this is your third web design.
Is this the third time for this site or is this the third of three different sites?
Are you looking to get into web designing or is this going to be your only site?

I ask because there is a lot that could/needs to be done to help the attractiveness of the site.

You have a decent start. Did you do this site from scratch or use a template?

Your site design is very good - content + the look. Good luck! I even rate it 8.5 out of 10.

Like ColoEagle says layout & rankings are totally seperate - we are all striving for good rankings by whatever means possible, but unless you are willing to pay it means lots of time doing this sort of thing!!
With regard to your layout I would suggest that you have maybe too much info on your home page; the text is small & you quickly stop reading - so by the time people get to what you are trying to sell they have moved on.
The photos & content are great - but I think you need to split it up into more pages. My experience is that internet users are looking for instant gratification so your home page has to give them the info to hold their attention & keep them on your site.

I'm a newbie & learning, so consider my words to be more from a consumer rather than a techie.
Very white, which makes me think stiff. I love the product, make me want to go with more color. The pictures draw me in, all the reading makes me feel like I'm working for the information. If I were looking to travel, I would very much appreciate finding your site & the information. It's very clean & informative.

I have a travel website, and the thoughts that cross my mind when I read yours is:
1) How do I get to Uganda?  What major airlines fly there and what are the logistics as to getting lodging?
2) Pictures of lodging/facilities
3)Testimonials of visitors and pictures of visitors in safari process.
4)Money exchange rates.  I'm in America, and to be truthful I don't know anything about Uganda except what I've heard in the news or in movies.  May I suggest a link to a money exchange site.
5) A website such as yours is important.  There were once days when people made money killing and selling animal skins/meats.  Today these animals are a tourist attraction and they're more valuable alive.
6) Music, may I suggest placing Ugandan music and art on your website?
7)Video.  With small snipets of video you get: Exposure and give potential visitors a sense of what Uganda is like.
I am no expert, but I have put video on my website (embedded it thru Utube) and it has brought me visitors to my site and guests to my villa.  I use microsoft video editor.  It's easy to learn and use.
8)What about the same site in another language?  Europeans travel much, and Africa is much closer to them.
9) Foods of Uganda.  What is eatten, and so forth.
10) A blog: about a safari.   
11) use google analytics.  It's free and you can see where your visitors are coming from.

A web site is a process.  I learn about some aspect of web design/stuff every day.  Don't worry about your ranking, worry about creating a visual presentation, to give folks a feeling of "wow, I want to go there."

Hi! good start!   as a hint I would suggest having a different background colour for the menu to show the difference between the page content and the menu panel.  Otherwise its good
