Just a 2-3 minute review, Mate.

Your page is too wide. Four columns is too many.

Looks like you've started with a 770px wide template and just made it wider.

Design your site for a 1024px screen width. Make the page 970px wide or 1000px at the most. You'd be better off finding the right template in the first place.

Well, that's all you get for 2-3 minutes. A proper review takes conscientious members 20-30 minutes for a quick one. A couple of hours to do it thoroughly. tongue

I am very happy to receive your reply. Yes, in the first place I also not agree with our web team members whereby the overall size was to wide but now I have to modify it and it may look fine now.

The reason why I put only require 2-3 minute for review because the website was in progress and a lot of section still not completed yet. But now laurie, I need to extend the review time to 30 minute since the content was more and more..kindly review my website again, laurie. i am very proud to receive your comment and suggestions. i really want to creat a website that really works..otherwise i have to break the bank... storstark

In general I like your colors and the general layout. big_smile

Now for my comments/suggestions;

Have you looked at your site with FF. The counter and powered by statement with the blue background is in the middle of your content.

You have horizontal scroll in a 1024 width browser - not good.

The text size is on the small side, consider increasing it a couple of sizes.

A lot of content on the home page. Maybe break this down by at least half and lead me to the rest of your products.

Your "Welcome to our new site" statement should be the first thing a visitor sees.
1. What is your site about.
2. What does your site have to offer.
3. Why should I buy from you.
The light gray text on the white background is on the difficult side to read.

Clicking on an image should take me straight to that item and not to a page where I have to click again to view it. People are impatient and making us click too many times to view a product is aggravating. Aggravation will lead to closing the site and going on to the next site in our search.

When I click on a text link for a category such as your "Monitors" consider having images on the page I am taken to. One of a CRT and one of an LCD. This will add to the quality appearance of the page and also make it easier for a visitor to know which one they want to view first.

Two different colors of text and all run together is difficult to read. In addition it doesn't make sense. Are they for SEO or are these "Frequently Asked Questions" if so, make a separate page and give answers with suggestions. The word "more.." at the bottom. Is this suppose to be a link taking me somewhere? If for SEO then you need to make them more readable to a visitor. (Write for the human and not the robots) Humans reading something for robots will lead them to the next site.

I didn't see a "Privacy Policy" page or a "Terms of Service" page.
How / what will you do with my personal information.
What are your terms for returns or exchanges.

Lastly, on the technical side you have not declared a DTD (DocType Declaration) This is important to help the browser display your pages properly and not go into quirks mode.

Hi!

Hope not bothering...

I would suggest a unitary color palette (-scheme...) for your template's graphics.
For example, the vertical lines. I mean the delimiters between the columns. The left one is thin and blue, the right one is grey and pretty wide... (In fact, in Opera the right vertical line cannot be seen at all. I got used to OP 7.5x vs., perhaps in vs. 9 is OK...)

You still have that problem in FF rendering (NS, too...). Sort of bottom section overflow. It's typical for the dual (both table & div) HTML coding. I didn't put the page source into a code editor, I just guess this is the case...
I know..., you mentioned "Best view with IE 6 ..." down there, yet Mozilla Firefox is pretty popular...

Next: -proportions!
As usuall, the main section of the page, the central one gets the focus. So, a little wider middle column in the detriment of the right one would be better, I'd say... Consequently, the gallery's pics may be slightly enlarged, too.

Finally, (...got mad at me, allready?! ok..., pls skip, then... big_smile ) underlined content/ text is normally supposed, expected to be a link, a reference... So, you may use style attributes to emphasize the titles, (-"Privacy Policy", "Term and conditions", and so...) instead of underlining... In fact, you may set the titles as links, and open new (_self) windows with the respectiv content.

Hello Rahim

Having just reviewed your website I would like to add my comments as a user myself but without detailed information on the specific code as I am pretty much learning as I go along myself. Firstly I would like to ask if you would consider increasing the size of the text as I find it quite hard to read although visually impaired the text at the present size might put others off too?

It is obviously a business venture and you place quite a bit of emphasis on displaying a lot of information complemented by images, but to me it seems quite a hectic home page I find it off putting to have the navigation list so close to the illustrations for the components, I feel that if possible a little more space between the component illustrations would help a little.

I would like to see the sponsor / affiliate logos moved away from the main body of text as I find them somewhat distracting, I understand the idea behind having them but would rather have them somewhere towards the lower part of the part. I would also recommend moving the TERM AND CONDITIONS to a separate page of its own as I find it a little ‘strong’ for your introduction page, like wise it does nothing to enhance your business to have REPAIR RETURN POLICY & WARRANTY information on a page that is essentially intended to promote your services.

Nice color scheme but from a newbie myself you write like you talk and have someone proof the english and make some minor changes in delivery if you are trying to reach english speaking...
