Kind of stuck in the learning process

Ok,
I have now learned about nesting div 's but now I'm truly stuck.  I got a script for a shadow border (javaScript) but where would I put this script if I want the border to appear only on the page content div.  Do I link it in the body of the html document or where do I put it in the .css
Now did I  really goof up.

Re: Kind of stuck in the learning process

Given that we can't see your script I can only guess

All the functionality of your script can go anywhere between <script> tags on the page or off site in an external js file

Depending on how new the javascript is, you'll either keep everything on one place or you'll place just a little bit of code in the div you want to play with

Re: Kind of stuck in the learning process

Thank you for responding Northie.  I don't know how old this script is, but I went in and reread it.  It does say will not work in Ie. (if I were to print this thing out it would be about 20 pages long)  I'm going to have to play with it and see what kind of mess I can create.  I now have FireFox and have been using it more and more.  There are so many more things you can see in it then IE.  Thanks for recommending that to me in a previous forum.
Will let you know how things turn out.

Not sure what script you're using but here is a potential alternative:

Uses Jquery code.
