any luck getting backlinks with jetsubmitter??

Just curious if anyone has tried the jetspinner/jetsubmitter programs?

I have some concerns about the product.

I would like to hear from somebody/anybody who has actually spun and submitted articles to the
400 plus directories and has increased their backlink status with google
as a direct result of jetsubmitter.

In otherwords, after a period of time by doing a simple
check ie.. link:www.url.com, is google
indexing these articles from any-some-most of directories you submitted to?

I noticed many of the article directories all have the same interface -
minor changes in graphics here and ther - but basically the same template. I wonder if all these directories were specifically created for jetsubmitter?

It really doesn't matter to me as long as the links are
indexed as the product claims should happen.

The  approach is to spin articles to the point that each
article is almost completely different, yet conveys the same message. Not just trade synonyms.
What I noticed also, (maybe due to the recursive nature of how the program parses your spun article)
is how difficult it is to get 2 completely different articles; there's a randomness
in how it selects spun phrases as it creates multiple versions of each article.

Seeing how the whole point of this product is to avoid the duplicate
content issue with google I wonder how much an article needs to be spun to not be deemed a duplicate?

The Jetspinner is a very good tool however and can actually
improve your wrtiting. For me at least, it forces variety and variations
in theme of whatever I'd previously written. You'll be surprised at
what you can come up with when you start tearing your sentences apart, that's for sure.

anyway... bottom line is does it help you get backlinks or not?

Greetings kmott,
I have not used jetspinner but it sounds like an accident waiting to happen. I don’t believe you will would get any relevant links. That’s just not how professionals build link profiles.

Re: any luck getting backlinks with jetsubmitter??

Web Spammers (Black at) already have a variety of rewriting applications based on Markov principles… this is nothing new and the tactic, I dare say, could be considered shady. There is absolutely nothing wrong with an article appearing on multiple sites. Between Article Marketing and Site Scrapers… it is VERY common. It is merely the site with the greatest trust, (authority) that gets credit for it.

Beyond that, I can’t imagine more than 50-100 article sites even worth submitting to… and that is over-kill IMO.

What people don’t seem to grasp at times is that merely throwing a bunch of links at something is not the end game here. It was 1-2 years ago, but no longer. Not to mention that all links weren’t created equal… a few hundred weak ones don’t mean squat if we get them from authority sites… so publishing a well thought out, well researched article, on the TOP industry/market news sites… is always a better idea anyways.

Article marketing, like directory subs, is one of the basics of link profile development, it is not an entire campaign….  Put out 1 per week on the top 20 or so sites… Make it good so there is hope for it reaching further distribution. Also try and get one per month onto a TOP News site…. Dats it… get on with other activities

points taken...I was just interested in finding out about this specific app and if it brought any results..link wise. My suspisions were tending towards what you guys are saying... Looks bleak..

I do publish regularly to ezinearticles .com which I consider a really good article directory - authority site? Probably have 150 live ones... I just wonder why none of the backlinks are indexed in google - most are indexed in yahoo.

I believe the quality of the majority of the articles I publish are pretty good based on views and CTR to landing pages on my sites.

Good points anyway... I'll refocus energy on targeting news sites..How about high pr blogs?

Re: any luck getting backlinks with jetsubmitter??

Since ezine I believe didn't start tracking url clicks to the stats until recently ( I could be wrong but I never noticed until a few months ago) not all my article stats are correct. For example one high traffic article I published (7-10-07) as of yesterday  has 9143 views, 1653 url clicks ..18% CTR  ,  industry is health / antioxidant. pretty sure this one is accurate. In other words many articles I published had history prior to implemnting url click tracking

Articles like these boost traffic but I've yet to see backlinks in google. Don't get me wrong... pinpointed targeted traffic is the ultimate goal so that's good...

back to the article spinning issue...

There are many unkowns to the jetsubmitter concept - how much traffic to these obscure directories really get? Many don't really have a robust search feature so finding a specific article may be more work than most want to go through.

The more I think about it the concept seems to be based on the more _ _ _ _ you throw against the wall somethings bound to stick.  Probably not the best marketing concept. But we'll see... I subscribed for 1 month.
