I am confused about link: and linkdomain: in yahoo.

Can any one guide me about why

link:www.mydomain.com

and

linkdomain:www.mydomain.com

show different number of backlinks and there is a large diff in no of backlinks as they both show backlink for a site.

link:your-site.com shows links to your home page
linkdomain:your-site.com shows links to all pages

However, both of these commands will include links to your page(s) from within your site - ie internal links and external links mixed together

if you do
linkdomain:your-site.com -site:your-site.com

it finds all the links to pages on your site and then filters out all the pages on your site so that you can get a good idea of all your external back links

Unfortunatly, not even this gives you an indication of how relevant google think those links are!
