We're redesigning one of our sites and white is one of the main "colors" we're using
however we have a section that asks people to enter their NAME and EMAIL to sign up for an account
much like there is on the homepage of Site-Reference for the newsletter
in FF the input fields (boxes) show up as white which is the way we want them...however due to phising restrictions (so we believe) IE makes them yellow (ish) which doesn't suit the design all that well
any ideas on how we can get those to be white in IE as well or if that's even possible
thanks

Change the name of the form elements to something thats not obviously "Name" or "Email". Just change the name of the form elements.
And its probably not IE thats changing them yellow. You have the google toolbar for IE installed don't you ?

Have you got the google toolbar installed on IE and not on FF?
This is not an IE/FF issue
It is a google toolbar issue - the auto-complete feature (or something like that), even if not used may be enabled and highlights certain fields based on the name AND what text is around it
unfortuantly you may be able to turn it off but your visitors may have it enabled

Didn't see the last line of M1's post - sorry for duplicating info!
