We (or I should say Gypsy and Tanya who look after our sites) converted one of our sites to joomla a few days ago, and since then pages have disappeared, ads dropped off, google ad blocks disappeared.
Does anyone here run joomla, and is it stable?
I noticed too that some of my keywords which were number in Yahoo disappeared altogether - coincidence?

First, what version are you using? I was using 1.0.12 for 8 websites, then 1.0.13 on 4 websites and I haven't had any problem with Joomla so far. These websites range from simple few-page sites to sites with online booking, forum, and WP blog engine, and a variety of 3rd party components and plug-ins installed. So, yes, Joomla is stable.
What do you mean by "pages have disappeared, ads dropped off, google ad blocks disappeared" though? Can you expound a little?
To be honest no idea what version of joomla is being used.
With regards to google ad units disappeaing and other ads - they do at an alarming rate after a few days - they just disappear.
And sometimes a whole page.

disappearing? maybe they are still editing the pages and installing the plug-ins? it's because to display google ads you need to have a component or at least the mambot/plug-in installed. and as fas as i know, it goes the same with all other ads, though i only tested 3 or 4 of those ad services.
