Having the sidebar is ok and should not be a problem. The table that your main content is in is where the problem comes in. You can have the sidebar, the content and no scroll. What needs to be found is the code or styling that is causing your main content to spread out.

Yes, that is what I mean.
I have been going through your code and the table setting you have on line #161 of the code is where I would begin. Change the width setting.
Sorry I forgot to mention that I use the html Tidy add-on for Firefox to view the errors.
Do you have FF?

Firefox Web Browser...preferred by experienced internet users and many of the people here. I also have Internet Explorer and Safari and I use them for various purposes, yet Firefox is by far superior for our purposes. Free to download and worth taking a look at the add-ons like the html tidy CE was talking about.
ER (we tend to use abbrevations a lot and sometimes just forget people might not know what we are referring to)

I wish we had before and after shots - you have made a difference. I've noticed how much ColoEagle has helped you...he needs a medal ----more smileys please!
Why is your text still so large? And why do you have two header logos? Surely just one is sufficient! It's a marked improvement though, how are you feeling about it?

Well.. he's not the only one that helped me.. lots of people including you..
Err.. for the two logos and some large text(abit) in the homepage, i was just thinking that it would be dull if i don't do that..just to attract visitors to sections in my site..something like a sum up page..especially the links to my web hosting business, which is extremely important to me.. don't you think i need that?
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for replying.

Look - if you're happy with it, that's the most important thing.
What if you put some small (clickable) images next to each description on the home page...ipod, camcorder etc that will add more visual interest and be much more appropriately stimulating....?
I'm going to keep at you about the text size thought...I VERY strongly recommend that it is reduced further so we don't have to scroll down the page in order to see everything you have to offer. The best websites tend to show the entire page in the browser without having to scroll in any direction...
But again - if you are happy - it's fine!

For the image, I'll have to do it slowly. As for the content, I think i will cut down the display for tech news. is that ok? thanks for your comment.

I think they will be useful changes - ha, I have to do some images for my own site - I'd better start practicing what I preach.
All the best to you,

Oh wow, I just think it's too all over the place, too heavy, it takes a while to load, the template is not harmonious, nothing matches!! Something more organized would fare better with me. Please review mine!

As for your site, not bad. The only thing is that it is a blog, you should make a website by yourself.

Additional Comments
Can you guys please check out my site at EarthExplode.Org & EarthExplode.com and give some comments about it? Any suggestions to improve the sites?
Hi
I only looked at the .org site.
What is the purpose of this site ? If you are the number one tech site in Asia then why is there high school news, jokes and games etc ?
Also your tech news on the front page appears to be limited to personal consumer electronics.
Did not like the pink.
I suggest you think about exactly what you want the site to be - it certainly strikes me as trying to be much more than tech .And at the same time , not tech enough to make a techhead go back for a second visit.
regards
Ronald
Hi buddy,
Firstly, you have tried the exact same programs which I am using with my site.
conduit and adbrite,
so if we could share any experiences that would be great .
now about the review..
1) Nothing except your header is 'non-chaotic', and even the colour of your header are not followed ever again at the page.
2) The earthexplode banner is also very immature.
3) the text colour you have used and the fonts too are as if the content was just added for the sake of adding it.
4) The site appears to be made in a very hap hazzard manner, the pictures and the ads are not well placed and alligned.
So the crux of the story is... it's all messed up,
Give it a good appearance and make a theme colour followed by your page.

I find it hard to review sites, seeing as I'm not very experienced in web design, but strictly as a vistor, I found your site somewhat overwhelming.
I think adjusment of some of the subtle things and more discrete ad placement would go a long way. As it is, the site seems like a large cluster that lacks a completely focused content-base. It took me a while to figure out what the site was about, because I had to dig through superficial material in order to reach the basis of the site.
Otherwise, maybe some more variety in the content display, and the site seems golden to me, if I were looking for the latest on Asian tech.
Good Luck,
Brennnen
Hi,
I have a few suggestions, comments and ideas for your site.
First off, have you considered using a CMS (Content Management System) to manage your site? I see you have many, many levels of pages, and that can get quite confusing with content updates and such. I would look into one, like Joomla or Mambo. They both work great, FREE (which is always a plus), have plenty of built in features and what they don't have, I'm sure someone has made a plug-in for download. CMS software could substantially save you time and work!
If using a CMS is not an option.
First things first, you need to fix the page width problem. I hate having to scroll side-to-side, and I'm sure most everyone here would agree with me on that.
I would suggest making your navigation vertical, because your header area is kind of busy and stretches off the browser window.
I would also look into using some sort of banner rotation script, too many ad's all over the place. - See above a CMS could help you with this problem as well.
I'd look into making your logo's background transparent, instead of being white over a blue header. It looks out of place and bulky.
One other thing, you need to work on the validation problem. 400+ error is just too many, It might take a while to reduce that, but it will be worth it in the long run.
These are just some suggestions and ideas. Good luck!
