I am thinking of purchasing some Email marketing software to start managing my campaigns...

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

Hey J,

there are plenty of fine ones out there- a little Google search will show you a bunch...they just have diferent features and price levels so you'll be able to pick according to what you need

one thing i do want to mention though is make sure you choose 1 that collects email addresses for you and is well established....so they can handle the delivery and any issues that may arise.

Alternatively, if you dont want to pay and want to email people you know or who have subscribed to your newsletters then you should use php. Im certainly no expert but it is an easy enough system to put together, your subscribers emails get saved in an database, you write your email in a form online (your own php form) and it sends out to all the email addresses cleverly using the first name in the database to personalize your emails.

If you dont have time to learn php I am sure one of our php gurus will be glad to make you one for a "dontation" eg Northie, StevenAS, Mutilated1 etc
