Website for Review

Additional Comments
This is a site that's designed purely for use on a mobile phone, it's an example of what the new project 'm working on is capable of.
No order processing on there yet but most if it is all working.
Bear in mind this is for the small screen, thoughts and comments welcome.
Thanks

First I have to say that you should make it bi..................... hehe
oh wait a minute you said it was a mobile site.
I set my screen to match my mobile and looked good. Well organized.
I know images and mobiles are a task because of bandwidth, however on the cd dvd page "League Of Gentlemen Series 1" the image is so small I had difficulty making anything out of it.

Yes images can be a chore thanks to data and bandwidth generally sucking a lot more in the mobile realm than desktop, that said though, each product sets the image and dimensions of the image to use, it's just that product with a small image.

They give two better examples I hope, and also go someway to showing off how customisable the stores can be from client to client.
Thanks for taking a look!
Well color me pink with embarrassment but I have been selling .mobi registrations for a few weeks but never actually saw what one looked like. I think that it's pretty neat. If I ever have someone that needs one designed I will definetly send them to you. Great job.

lol
It's not a case of designing them anymore, if I want a new mobile site I just configure it and it's live! Designing takes too many hours whereas this is a highly configurable site generator!
If you're selling .mobi names are you Interested in selling this as an add on? PM if you're interested. Sorry SR couldn't resist the little tout for business...
How are the .mobi sales going? Are you getting much interest in them? I know mTLD have done over 600,000 of them now and are doing some pretty cool things to push the mobile web.
Hi Mob,
Can you put some picture on the 1st page ?. It will give very good impression to the visitor and if possible put adsense to generate extra income in the 1st page too.
Will keep review your website ..

Hi,
I think that if the site is for mobile it's ok to keep it light, but I wonder about the idea itself, do you think it'll have many of people using it?

first off i'll elaborate on my last post.
that site is powered by a cms i built, the graphical menus really are optional and my comment sounded blunt. not that it would usually bother me...
as an example here's another site it runs, a ringtone thing for the us marketplace: http://mp-real.bilda.mobi/ both powered by the same framework.
google adsense for mobile is a great doorway for a lot of desktop publishers to embrace mobile advertising but there are alternatives which are more profitable. in that sense it sucks,
with regards to reservations about how many people are browsing the mobile web here's a few things to consider.
.mobi - backed by google, microsoft, ericsson, samsung, three, t-mobile, vodafone, tim and a few more high profile players who'd not spit on it if there wasn't the users out there eating up massive amounts of data through their networks and handsets already!
more than 600,000 .mobi registered in a year - there's loads of people offering mobile web versions of their site so they can keep customers up to date when, and where, the customer needs to know. it's the polite and sensible thing to do, give your customers access to you when they need you no matter where they are.
google just announced andriod - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7080758.stm - they'd not put the effort into something for mobile if the users were never going to go for it. all the power of the next generation of google apps in your pocket. kinda cool but the idea of google and gps and my search history makes me think i'd be uncomfortable with it knowing too much about me.
ad networks, admob is my fave by far and serve over a billion and a half ad impressions a month, nokia, aol and microsoft have all bought / built mobile ad agencies
there's billions of page views a day and users need your content!
google mobile checkout, paypal mobile checkout and other payment options make it viable to sell goods on the mobile web
mobile commerce is available, people are making dollar from wap traffic and there's demand for great content out there.
regards the earlier comment about adsense on the demo site, the bilda.mobi framework has inbuilt support for admob, google, nokia, medio and admoda so there's all the ad options you could need!
I like the site. Loads a bit slow though!
