Summary: this is a directory of sites that people may use to make extra money in their spare time, with information provided for each site. This is meant to be a high quality directory (free sites only, no PTS/PTC sites, etc.).

In particular, I am wondering about the link tracking in the directory. I installed this to be able to keep track of which sites in the directory are being visited the most, and to help cloak affiliate links. Do you see this type of linking as a negative in a site?

I'm a greenhorn, but I can see a keyword problem. So think about the keywords a while. They sound great but the robots have a tendency to mess up when words like "from" are in the keywords. This is a "stop" word. Kinda common. Like "the" or "with"  robots don't run well through words like these. they omit them. then they mess up on the rest of them. (been there)  I tried "apple trees  for  sale".   "didn't work."  Oh man I loved the sound of that. You know, apple trees sale isn't so bad. It gets traffic.

Tom: As for keywords, I've done very little optimization there so far. The site is new and I was focusing on content and standards compliance to start. So your point is valid. In my understanding however, most of those filtered words should be simply ignored by the search engines and not act as a penalty (unless they are overdone, perhaps).

Anyone have an opinion about the link tracking? Or does it really not make much difference in the end?

I like this site!  I am a member already of most of the survey places you have listed and I tell ya, they really help out at Christmas time. 

I also liked the colors of the site and I also found it easy to get around.  You are right to advise those who come your way that these sites are "not get rich quick" and "it takes some effort" for this is true.  Like I said, I do a lot of surveys, save the points and cash them in once a year.

Nice to see a place willing to help others. Wish I had found this about 10 years ago.

Hi, I just checked out your website. It is very informative but doesn't feel very appealing when you land in it. It might help if the banner has somepicutures of dollars and cents on it to create the overall look and feel. Just my 2 cents.

I noticed that you have new additions every few days.  Would like to suggest that you convert this into a WordPress blog to generate more traffic for your site. 

If you are looking at generating income from adsense, suggest that you look into optimising the positioning of the ads, for example, in between posts.

The site load fast and that's a great plus.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions all. I was away for a while and unable to reply. I've made some tweaks lately and tried to streamline things a bit more, removed the link tracking as it was largely unnecessary, and added a lot more information. Ads are probably the least optimized thing on the site at this time as I was much more concerned with building the audience first, but those will be looked at as well.

In directory page add some good images to give a better look.

easy to navigate
you are bound to get good results... you can improve upon your appearances, but that doesn't bother much as the content and purpose of your site is already being fulfilled. nice creativity and effort,

I think you should tell your story. Make this site more personal example what has worked for you and what didn't work and why.
I would want to know the best to not and why.

There's alot of information, but is it all good info or just alot of info?
