Hi everybody i would like my website to be reviewed any comments on how to improve it or any tips would be greatly appreciated, This is my first website so please dont be too harsh lol! Thank you.

Well i haven't exactly figured that out for myself yet, But i want it to be fun and entertaining for people who visit. with games, free downloads etc..music.

things to do:
1. Make sure you state clearly at the top of the page what the site is about - yes, you need to work that out!
2. Tighten up the language a bit - pay attention to grammar and punctuation etc - its not a myspace page so maybe a bit less hip.
3. Recognise the fact that people will click away from your site really quickly if things are not clear...make sure they know there is something there for them!!
4. Get rid of the cat. I hate cats.

Now move the D look ad below your text, put it beside the other ad.

Now break up the main text a bit with some paragraph breaks and re-read it - there is one really long sentence right near the beginning. Try reading out loud and see if you run out of breath!

Web sites take lots of massaging and reworking, so this is just the start!

I think i have fixed up most of those problems now, I'd also like some help with how to upload actual files to the webpage like etc. music, games, movie trailers? if i need a program to do that or my own domain? and how i can get more exposure and hits through google and search engines alike? Thanks very much for all the help so far! much appreciated

www.widgetbox.com has some pretty cool games you can put on your site for free.

to upload to your site - try aceftp  its free and  find very usable

I'd suggest changing the Welcome to my website' to something more descriptive - Maybe "Mels site for free stuff and hot offers"

Also a bit more thought to ad placement - things seem a bit scattered at the moment....
