Does a good alternate exist to PAYPAL? Although their service was useful to me for a number of years, they turned savage when I disagreed with one of their decisions. I need to find another such entity.
Ideas anybody?
Hi Ballbrit,
I just found this forum, and have just registered. I would like to inform you that a Paypal alternative does exist, or will exist Jan/08. I have been involved in this company for over 3 years. Development has been ongoing for 4 years now, and I know for a fact that this will dominate the e- commerce market. Recently, it has been decided a person will be able to send, recieve or withdraw your funds in ANY currency....... totally FREE of charge. No other e-wallet can compete with free, nor can you use any currency, every single one out there charges for their services. This will be the ONLY, truly global online payment processor.
Please see the link included in my signature.
I truly hope that this info. helps you out. I too, have had a runin with Paypal, they stole all the money, that I have legitimately earned over 5 years doing online surveys. What right do they have "stealing" my or anyone else's money??? Have a great day!
Darryl

OK I fell for it and registered - so you do have one member - I hope the rest of the service will be better than their email responder when it finally gets some content!. What person in their right mind is going to pay for a subscription to an empty web-site on a "promise" of something good ... if you know that person send him to me I can sell him loads of "hope".
Quote - wait a few minutes to receive activation email .Unquote .......... one hour later - still waiting .... (and yes I checked my SPAM folder)
One suggestion from one very uptight telephone account holder - I have learned to NEVER put an active telephone number into ANY on-line registration forms - to do so is to invite a non-stopping verbal spam ring. So you might get more members by making this optional - assuming any content finally appears.
PS - Back on topic - I have yet to have an argument with PayPal and although I understand there are many horror stories I can't really complain - I find NOCHEX OK as a supplier as well but I have never had any business through it. It was getting popular about three years ago but seems to have tailed off in recent years. I only offer the choice of PAYPAL/cheque or cash and I would say 95% of all payments arrive via PayPal.

find paypal bothersome to sign up.
Correct me if I'm wrong, It is my understanding now that customers do not have to sign up for making a payment.
Not trying to dig up the dead [threads] here but i was jujst creating a PayPal button in my account and came accross this:
https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/webs … t-optional
In your Paypal Profile, under 'website payment preference'- you can select whether you require people to sign-up first - it is set to ON by default- meaning that your customers do NOT need to register with PP
