Additional Comments
I'm new in this trade and gaining lots of experience. I've updated my site 3 times within the last two years. I've also received comments from two different sites; blogs. I read the comments; positive and negative and redesigned my site. I would really like it if you could review my site and post your thoughts; positive or negative. At first I took the first batch personally but now I'm learning from comments!! Thanks everyone.

Hey Anita,

I use a widescreen monitor and your images do not lign up with the "book" backgrounds on mine

fixing that i a good start glad

It's not just the wide screen.

Anita - I agree with what Nic said, and I'll go further in-depth ... apparently, the Bloggers didn't give you much help from a lack of knowledge.

I'm assuming you created the site in MSIE -- MSIE has problems displaying sites properly; so you should always code your site for Firefox first.

That being said, you didn't start your site with the mandatory <!DOCTYPE Declaration> which is not only for validation, but also ensures your site displays properly in all browsers ... therefore, you have the following 122 code warnings that should be fixed...

I suggest making your links a tad larger and a different color so they are a little bit more noticable. I like your idea of the site, although websites arent put on paper ( unless rought draft of course ) maybe instead of the book use like a computer interface. I had a web design company many moons ago and it was called universedesigns.com. I designed that like a space shuttle and everytime a link was clicked the chuttle would go into an orbit to a planet which brought into a page within that frame. Maybe do something catchy like
A NEED OF A NEW WEB DESIGN? similar to your name..that was a 3 second thought but something like anita is very catchy to use. And start from there...

Thanks Tim, I had thought of a computer-like theme. I wanted to try out the book, it's been in my head a while. I may try the computer on a test site and see how it turns out. Thanks for the ideas. glad

My resolution is 1280x1024. The presentation of your site is not good... The tables and other images are not aligned properly inside the "book" picture and ive got 2 1/2 books in my screen... Try to create a table and set the background image of that table instead of setting the book image as the page's background.

Also i noticed that you use few colours... even in the other websites you created. Try to put more colours in your site as it makes it more pleasant/interesting for the user to browse. Try to use contrasting colours
