and i am trying to help other members also as per my potential...
one thing more are these postings going to help me in search engine rankings too...? as you were telling about article submission in other postings...
I want to make my site popular with article related to life and all

How could postings on a forum relating to websites and Search Engine Optimization help your SE rankings for a completely different subject?
IF you make QUALITY posts on forums that are directly related to your chosen topic, then many of the other members may follow the link to your site because it is what they are interested in. Often when Googling a question that I have, I find the answers coming from previous forum posts that have been ranked for their keywords and relevance.
If you write GOOD QUALITY articles and publish them to appropriate article directories (with a link back to your site in the Authors Bio) then many of the readers will click the link directly to your site if they like what they have read. Also, many GOOD articles are picked up by other people and can travel quickly across the internet when they are used in E-Zines, emails, quoted on peoples blogs or placed on other web pages. I have found this method extremely successful to get FREE TARGETED traffic back to my sites...to me, simply getting traffic from just anywhere is NOT very useful...specifically targeted traffic relating to my topic IS useful.
...and there are other ways.
I have joined my site related forums too... this one is just to get info on seo's.
I am now trying my hand at articles too... it will take some time, i am very motivated by a site i visited so i am now going for article writing and other methods...
there are other ways....
please state some..

10. Watch your spelling and grammar, you want to seem professional. For example: (If u in a place of knowing in which you know mind is dreaming this fantasy called ‘reality’, then what u live with is the truth that mind is what ‘right now’ is.)
I like the purpose of your site and I think it has potention if you apply these changes and the changes suggested by other reviews. You are on the right track. Good luck!
pot calling the kettle black? HHAHAHAHA... just kidding, we all spell things a bit funny now and then, nothing to stress about... as a matter of fact, some people actually spell things wrong so that when people are searching in a hurry and make the common typos they are more likely to find the sites they were looking for. it actually builds common ground for some people and by seeing a web page with a simple typo (exactly like the one they typed in the search query) they think - hey, at least i am not the only one who does that. Therefor they are more inclined to see the human involvement in your page. I wouldn't go overboard with such a tactic though
Cipher, why not search google for "free website templates", i used to download them just so i could try recreate them, my own personal trial by fire to see if could match up to the pro's. What im suggesting though, try find one that looks nice, the way you would like it to look and download it, then use it as a base for your new site, the menu structure is all there and all you need do is manipulate them to suit your needs - you may have some fun doing it as well.
Build the new site offline though, dont worry about changing bits and pieces of your current site while its up - that can be very stressful and put you off your game. Once you are done, start using key "phrases" that explain your site exactly - don't be vague. Make sure the content on your pages is very relative to what they are about and your meta description on that page... if you keep it all clean and to the point you will have visits from the search engines in no time... remember, there is no hurry.... haste is the quickest way to trip yourself.

First impression on the homepage is that there is way to much writing to read, You dont start to read as you look elsewhere & thats when you see the links on the left & right. The site links on the left are the right of the home page are really good & get you where you need to go easily, The site is very responsive. The only thing that anoys me is the adverts on pages you are reading or watching, But nealy all big sites have adverts, So that maybe a little to critical. Hope this helps

This is an improvement from the initial site.
A short paragraph at the top (first seen) telling me what the site is for and what it has to offer would be nice. Confusing/discouraging when I have too scan a page to find this out.
IMO still has too much action/things changing going on.
Suggest moving the navigation on the right, above the FunZone image. This will help a visitor to see where to go.
Tell me or at least help me to go to other areas of the site. Peak my interest with snippets or lead-ins. People do not like having to use their head when browsing a site, you have to lead them along gaining their trust and attention as you go.
Once you have got their attention and trust, they will then take time to see everything your site has to give them.

You have really encouraged me to do a lot on my site and it really took me weeks to attend all your suggestions. I hope I have complied all of them and am ready for the new ones. Please consider the site once again as it has been given a big makeover.
I really wish to show you people how the site was when I joined site-reference.

Hi Ryan,
Instead of starting all over again with a template I decided to put some creativity and effort in the existing one only... I hope I'm a bit successful. Suggest if i should still get a template and rearrange all of it. It would really be hectic so I am just taking ways out... what do you say?
Hello everybody,
I hope I have taken your all suggestions and improved upon the site. thank you all for taking your time to give a feedback. It really feels very good to recieve response, no matter positive or negative. So do drop a line.

Your navigation is still difficult to be found. This needs to be more prominent. People will leave your site if the navigation structure is too difficult to use or hard to find.
The background crayon drawings you have now, cute as it is. If you are going to stay with it I would suggest you lighten it up so that it isn't as prominently displayed. Make it a background image.
Right now some of the colors are interfering with the text you have making it difficult to read.

what do you recomend, I do with the navigation? I did put the important and latest links in a <UL> at right, as you suggested I shoukd reduce the links on site... My navigation is from the left side, right side is just for a quick overview for the returning visitor...
I'll try to lighten the background image... But is it that bad, should I change it immediately?

Ok I apologize, I was confused as to the main sites navigation.
I understand now that the links on the right are for updates.
Consider making these more prominent above the fold. Not sure how important the "Funzone" is or what the exact purpose of it is. But IMO having your updates listed above this would be more beneficial for a visitor.
The links on the left your main navigation. Maybe place a title above these identifying them as the "Site Menu" or something similar.
Placing the menus inside the ul is a good thing.
Since your site is about life and some of the fun things the background image is ok, just needs to be lightened up so it doesn't make the text difficult reading.

Ya the funzone was left, removed it now... thanks
I'll write the site menu is very clearly visible, i think and I have given space between them too... It was all cluttered before. I have put the title on sections as you can see.... the main areas that are completely accessible from the home page are
articles and poems, because that kind of traffic is what I expect from search engines... IF there is anything better I could do with the poem links, then do suggest.
secondly, when some one opens my site, my background loads first and the content comes after a little while... I want to load the background at a later stage.. can I do it just by putting the " background="pictures/background/backgroundfun.jpg" " where I need it or there's something else to be written..
please give the syntax.

Not seeing anything different.
Not any way you can control the order in which your page is displayed.
Display order;
1. (body)
2. (tables)
3. (text)
Two big things you can do to help decrease the amount of time it takes for your page/s to load.
1. Less graphics/action
2. Use CSS and div's instead of tables.

I would suggest:
Getting rid of the art work type back ground on the home page-possibly using it on an art work page.
A very thought out sentence or short paragraph on the home page explaining the purpose of your website and what need it would fulfill.
I would put your personal beliefs on your about me type page. Possibly making it a subject for debate in a forum?
Hope this helps,
Michelles

Hi,
First opening of site impressed me, the basic pictures are really lovely. But for next reading it was to chaotic for me. Content is sure interesitng, maybe you better use the basic pictures for some other advertising activities and make your site maybe not so nice, but more comfort for using.
Wish you good luck.
