I am a believer in quality over quantity.  It's always best to take your best articles and publish them in industry journals.  The links will be more valuable and you'll get traffic from valuable prospects.

The other side of things is articles written by summer interns or written for you by people who are not in your industry.  These won't be of the same quality as the articles you or your staff write.  For these articles, I look for quantity over quality.  The best place to get quantity is through an article submit service Article Marketer.
