Just recently, I've managed to get my site into the top 10 at google. (hooray for me!)
When I go to google, and do a search for my primary term, I come up at #7 (as of 02-22-07).
When I go to SEOlogs and use their 'Check Multiple Data Centers' tool (granted, they don't have EVERY data center, just a few)... I come up at #3. Might as well be #2 as the second spot is taken by a second page of the guy holding the #1 spot... whom doesn't sell my product in the first place, so I guess I could be considered #1.
Anyways..... on with the show!
So that got me thinking - It just so happens that there are specific regions in the U.S. that I would definately want to rank higher on. In my area... don't matter a whole lot. But down south, I'd like to make sure the rankings are higher, as my type of product is used heavily down there.
So, is there any kind of tool that shows location of all data centers, by region, and be able to check my ranking on those specific data centers?

Not really because they switch them in and out. People in the next town over could be on a different DC at any given time depending on the routing....
Not sure if it can actually be done... possible there are certain 'blocks' but I doubt it as the Server Farms are at a more finite number of locations.... so all outbound traffic can vary ....
People talk about 'data centers' when they are actually tracking various known Google IPs... this does not mean each IP is necesarily a difference Data Center (server farm) in physical means
