Ha ha ha ha!  That's the funniest post I've seen in ages!  I wish everyone searched on Google and MSN for 'floridavillas' instead of Florida Villas. But its going to be a long hard battel to get the world population changed over!!!

Mobtex, though MSN delivers low traffic volume, some people have reported that the % conversions seem to be higher from MSN traffic. You do know that traffic does not necessarily = conversions. Which is what its all about.

different dcs i guess, i've tried a few times on different urls and got the same results but you know how it can be......

as for conversions, that's the core of it, if they send better converting traffic it's worth putting extra effort into getting the rankings there.

same here... page 1 for my main keyword... but just 6% referral from msn. the bigger chunks come from google and yahoo.

All the sites I have ever made went right up to #1 on MSN and never fell back (if hosting was continuously payed or site wasn't deleted)!!!
I am getting some kind of feeling for google too, but with yahoo, 5 weeks and still only on 3rd page! and I don't see why!

I wish MSN indexed my site.I see GoogleBot, YahooBot and TechnoratiBot in my site just after I post something but never see MSNBot.

MSN Bot has never came my site or ı couldn't catch or see it. It doesn't show results from my site.

I agree with the comments on msn. I too have a page one ranking that hovers around three or four depending how the site around me is fairing.

What I would like to see is googlebot come through and assign some ranking from the first page msn search result.

That might get me out of sandbox and into a higher rank position.

The funny thing is that my keyword, (easily picked from my site) lists well on msn but on anything else the competition is to fierce.  When I saw it I thought "wow I'm and seo" but alas I don't think I am.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that if "more peoplee" used msn they may be inclined to pimp their algorithms just like google? and we would have other people saying that they wished more people would use google.... its a twisted circle people!!! plus, msn does generally suck... even hotmail sucks... it got upgraded with msn live and went from crap to big pile of crap. What a twist

Google is (despite to small fire thats poofs out everytime i think about optimizing for it) pretty damn helpful if you consider that lots of people get a ton of business for free from it... what does msn do?
