I can not lie.... i am once again baffled.... what the hell is this copywriting story and how do people get paid for it? Isnt it basically putting decent content on a page? "hey look at me, i have an article that makes cosmic sense and wont put you sleep after the heading, im a copywriter now!" This is the impression im getting, I know there is more to and perhaps one angry copywriter will tell what they do before the day is out?
giving inducing bizarre.
plus i like bizzarish stuff.... copywriters

)A copywriter is any person who writes copy - whether that be for an ad, or to write a page to rank well in the SE's. The fact is, a lot of people have problems writing. Either they use poor grammar, they simply do not know how to spell, or they just have problems creating a coherent sentence or page.
A copywriter is someone who knows how to write a page (or an ad, or a letter, etc) which will address the specific goals of that copy.

Even the word copywriter is a bit odd, mainly for the word 'copy'
'copy' has a number of meanings:
1 - There is the verb, 'to copy' - ie duplicate
2 - There is the noun, 'copy' - meaning an passage of textual content
A copywriter is someone who writes copy [2]

Hate to sound snooty, especially considering all I don't know, but, given the article included info about copywriting, by someone, who claims to be a writer, the copy wasn't very "right!" It seemed to have a lot of good information, but the sentences were so off, I couldn't understand it enough to finish it. Commas, periods and finished thought would have helped me greatly, I suspect.

Obviously, there are more who think they are copywriters, then there are real ones. Then again, if you read the article griffin and I mocked, (and it might just have been that the author's primary language isn't English, but he thinks he writes in English as well as he writes in his primary language) when you want a copywriter, well, it won't be that author.
Can YOU be, Ryan? Well, assuming you did all the copy on your site and, remembering your article, I think you have the ability. You might even get people to buy your copywriting service. It may well be that you already are a copywriter, but the problem is always circular -- like when folks come out of school with a degree and no experience -- you have to have experience to claim the position, but you cannot claim the position, because you have no experience.
Since you've written lots of content on your site and you've written an article, you can add "writer" to your CV! (You have a CV?! I thought only lawyers and doctors had CVs.

Boy; ya turn 32 and you already need help ...
... what copy do you need help with in the site review area?
TA, You're confusing me with all the avatar changes, dang it!
I didn't post a site, but when I do, I would like some help in that whole conversion thing....
On the other hand, most people that order from our site haven't really been around the net all that much. So I could use 4 year old tactics, and it wouldn't matter.
When I'm ready to post, I'll request that info.

lol, thats what i thought to
us computer folk are like carni people... nobody knows where we come from but with a little faith (aka: wool over the eyes and foreign languages) we can make seemingly magical things happen
Yeah, perhaps i will add that to my email of accomplishments
I reckon after 600 posts on any forum without been beaten down for lack of spelling and composition abilities we can all be copywriters
Perhaps SR could sell online "copywriter" certificates? if i can become a doctor online why not a copywriter to
