what about a sub forum for blog reviews, i see a number of blogs being asked for review and they can't really be classed as sites if it's a blogger.com job.

maybe a separate section for blog reviews and an explanation why it doesn't go under site reviews might bring in a new crowd of bloggers to sr and keep site reviews a little purer.

i've pointed out a blogger.com site isn't a real website on a review and left it at that before, mabye if there was a sub forum for blogs it might make me, and others, a little more helpful to new sr users who could be scared away.

also under normal reviews if people could spell out what their call to action on their site is it might be handier for the reviewer to be able to target their responses better. ie - tell us what you want users to do on your site.

I don't know about anyone else, but Blogs are so common, especially within "Blogger.com", once you've seen 4 or 5 it would become rather mundane and very boring in a short period of time.

The blog aspect was discussed already by mods with a concensus on the no.
On the asking people what they want reviewed, that has also been discussed ad nauseum - they should be (and many do - just some reviewers ignore it) asking for specifics, rather than a carte blache request

yip yip yip.... NO. Sorry mob, i have TA's back on this one, blogs do get extremely mundane, if youve seen three you have seen em all, At least websites show some sorta creativity and wowza every now and then, blogs all serve the same purpose and do it in mostly the same way, no offence to blogs - i enjoy them and appreciate people who make good and interesting ones but they cant really be reviewed... at least not unless they were blogs merged with (fully functional) websites in which case im sure many people would be happy to review the site and use of the blog.

I hate to say it but i can just picture an influx of people with blogs that just want hits and free places to drop links filling up the blog review section, could get messy me thinks
