I made it finally,
page 10 (Google) in my best keyword search, shut up, lol, at least I finally broke the barrier, lol, thanks, thegypsy, MrStitch, and all others. I think the only reason I am not doing better is some file name changes. MSN and Yahoo penalized me or reduced me but I know this is temporary. The 301 redirects could not be done and I just punted and the new site change probably threw the engines off.
Nevertheless, I much appreciate everyones input and sincere help. I am deep into SEM just to make things work. Anyway I am not leaving you guys ( many may wish...JK) I will be back...and with better attitude not bitter attitude.
You guys and gals are the greatest, I am missing you but gotta work.........

PAGE 10???
I'm showing that you ranked #23 for dallas pc repair.
Thank you very much nybc. I liked the other but this is streamlined for dummies like me. But I very much appreciate your input, it is (layout) starting to grow on me. And people who need computer repairs will not care that much about "pretty". I would really like to make this a functional website for those in a bind so they don't have to go all over the internet for fixes. I have some really great freeware fixes coming up but need to think about keeping them out of the general view, else I crash my business to the floor. I will figure it out with some thought....and I will be slowly creating an ebook that should prove as really good material.
And to MrStitch, I have been so busy into SEM that I have not look at terms further than, "dallas computer repair". But geez that is a relief. I think that left hand table along with the javascript pulldown menu killed the Google bot somehow or turned the Google Bot "off", meaning it got tired with all the code before content [thanks to Nic (think it was Nic) for pointing this out]. But you guys input has definitely helped and I much appreciate you guys (and gals, I say "guys' as a generic term) staying with me, I felt your frustrations at times dealing with me.
But like I said before if anyone gets in a bind with malware let me know and I will step you through the removal. It can be such a pain if one is not used to such animals. Oh, and the last one that got me was a rootkit, fun times.

Well, G'day Yo.
Have you checked out your competition for your search term Mate? You should be outraged!
The first two sites, three results,.... Oh! It's beyond words! Obviously the sites are made by the same person and possibly they are sites of the same company. Mega spamming. You won't beat that.
The third site has the look of having been built by an amateur. Not very well done. I reckon you can beat it.
Now, Yo, you didn't ask for a site review but I'm going to stick my neck out a bit. Hope you appreciate it.
1) Your site looks a whole lot better now.
2) Your html is a whole lot better.
3) You've still got a fair bit of junk code making a nuicence of itself in some pretty important places.
4) You need an h2 subheading.
5) You should get your term "PC" into either your title or description.
Consider:
Code:
<title>Dallas Computer Repair - PC virus removal</title>
That's got to give you a pretty fair lift for your term "dallas pc repair"
Or else
Code:
<meta name="description" content="Dallas Computer Repair specialize in PC repairs, software repairs and virus removals, along with firewalls and anti-viruses.">
I recomend that you use both of those sugestions and that you use the description as your h2 subheading, straight after the h1.
Now Yo, it would be foolish to make predictions about your ranking. However, I reckon that if these changes don't get you onto the top half of page one for "dallas pc repair," then half a dozen articles sent to EzineArticles should give it a good nudge.
Go thegreatyo!
Regards,
Laurie.
Australian Exploration and Adventure on Horseback and Motorbike

Thanks you all are the best. Well I know that I picked a hard fight Laurie. It was not this way two years ago when I started this. I took top positions with a bravehost account...but now since I am a "big" boy I bought my domain name....after having been toppled.
Laurie, I have been using Macromedia to make my pages, lazy I know, but as you know I am too weak in coding. Can you suggest a tutorial to clean my code? I have ran my previous website (not this one) through www3c code compliance (issues) and it came up a catastrophy to say the least and I could not figure out how to clean one single item. And thanks much on the hint for the title page...that has really bothered me and I really like your suggestion>Brilliant...wish I would have thought that on my own.
Glad you saw my competition Laurie, it is getting worse. The guy has purchased every domain name for the local cities here in Dallas, naming them 'computerrepair"city".c o m'. Even the small city I live in. I know this character has seen my site since I use this city's name on my site (it is a wealthy city here, I live in 'student' housing near Southern Methodist University, I love this are.) But I am too stubborn, too adamant, and possibly too ignorant to let this spammer have his way. Check out 'dallas computer repair' on yahoo for those interested in what spamming is, LOL.
But I really appreciate everyone's encouragements. It helps me everyday I am on this marketing path knowing that the energy invested will not be in vain, least that is how I feel. I have been working 12 hour days and do not even know the numbers of links I have achieved. I know alot of them are not live but so what, my link profile is increasing daily so eventually I will pass the spammers.
And I have reported the spammers again to Yahoo and Google but to no avail. My time will be better going on the hard offensive, building a much better site and getting out articles which I have many questions about.
Thanks ALL!!!!!!!!!

To clean up your code you could use the html tidy extension of FF. This does not always fix everything but will fix most of the simple code warnings.
The best way is to go into the code side and do the fixes manually.

I ran your home page through the html tidy clean up and it fixed all but three <hr> errors.
You have <hr align="justify"> You can't use justify, left and center is all that is allowed.
I removed the alignment and left just the <hr> the display did not change.
Stepping out of the normal, here is your corrected error free home page.

Total coolness Colo Eagle. I have tried to do this. Much, much appreciate this and will start tackling this issue little by little, page by page. Then next, Laurie M's CSS styling. Sooner or later it will finally get cleaned up.
I sincerely appreciate all the effort and input.

Hey Yo!
I read your other post. Congrats. Knew you could do it!
Want to get to number six? ......... Thought you would.
Here are a couple of things that CE missed. At least, I think he missed them.
Code:
<h1 align="center"><font color="#FFFFFF" size="+4" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Dallas
Computer Repair</b></font></h1>
<h1 align="center"><b><font color="#FFFFFF" size="+3" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">PC
Virus Removal</font></b></h1>
Mate, I'd be changing it to something like the following for two reasons:
1) You should only have one h1. At least, that's how I understand it.
2) You don't need to bold your headings. The h1 etc do that for you.
Code:
<h1 align="center"><font color="#FFFFFF" size="+4" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Dallas Computer Repair - PC Virus Removal</font></h1>
Maybe that'll do the trick.
Want to get to number five?
Regards,
Laurie.

OK cool Laurie. Thanks many times over.
OOOHHHHH, remember how I was complaining (whining, crying, etc.) about G not giving me the option to include a(n) xml sitemap? WELL, now I am givin' the opportunity with a check box, coincidence, probably not. AND, I just now saw in my logs where G bot visited me. Ain't I special.
Thanks Laurie and CE, those changes will happen first thing tomorrow before the marketing adventure begins.
Oh yes, Laurie, I want to surpass that spammer, badly.....he just purchased a crap load of more names. Wow. And his tactics are now 'citycomputerrepair.c o m' AND citycomputerrepair. b i z'. This will prove interesting. I think I should put a message up on the front page, "powered by site-reference.com".
And don't think I won't but I don't want the spammer to see it or they will know your, you guys and gals, power. Dilemma. Thank you all, I am feeling so much relief.

OK Yo, here are my thoughts. I think you should get reliable advice about this, but this is what I reckon.
Let your mate go right on ahead with buying all the domaine names he wishes, with your blessing. I reckon he's pulling himself down.
So you have your dallas PC repair home page. Choose the six best cities and do a new page for each.
URL: www.pcvirusdoctors.com/citya, www.pcvirusdoctors.com/cityb, www.pcvirusdoctors.com/cityc etc.
Title: Dallas Computer Repair | PC Virus Removal, City A Computer Repair | PC Virus Removal, City B Computer Repair | PC Virus Removal etc.
Each aditional city page needs to be unique, not a repeat of the home page. Just include a few instances of the city as a keyword, amongst your unique blurb about PC repair in that city. Link to the home page. Sounds better SEO to me than having multiple domains, will be a lot cheaper and much easier to keep track of.
Target the new internal pages with article backlinks.
Regards,
Laurie.

Greg,
What "Shut Up?!? You took a common keyword, and got to, where you thought, was the tenth page! I'm impressed above the top 30 pages! (Honestly!) On top of that, others have found you much higher up! No "Shut up!" Way cool! May I gain such altitude as you have some day! I'd fear a nose-bleed from being so excited! May you get to your rightful 1 spot soon!

Hehe, thanks atwhatcost and Laurie. Well I need to fix the coding issues and have been delinquent because of web directory submissions. I need to get on this coding issue though, thanks to Colo Eagle and with Laurie's CSS. Thanks atwhatcost, I moved out of the free websites like you, I think bravehost or tripod, actually I moved out of both. Don't worry about support I can help you too. It is no different really. I just got on a roll today and found a ton of submission places and went for it.
Checked LinkPopCheck and way surpassed my competition....I say way...but I am straw grabbing as usual. They may not be the best quality links but this venture is pure sweat equity. I cannot spend money on links. Plus I am probably too stubborn, maybe need to prove a point to myself.
Thanks again, atwhatcost, I need encouragement, I have accomplished these search terms before but have crashed, like I have said before. The results here are duly a result of my friends here. Not mine. I don't want to seem like I am patronizing, but you guys and girls are where I am today and improving daily, I really can take responsibility for the results that you all suggest and I act on
Final thought, I don't like web spammers. I am going to create city pages somehow, lol, thanks Laurie, LOL. I need to ponder this idea, but I much like it, I thought about it before, but tending now to agree with you.
The web is a trip, people are a trip, guess the message is to have fun. (that was stupid, no?)

Hey Yo!
Here's a site you should check out, about city pages. It's not spamming. At least, I don't reckon it is. www.**badcreditfinancialexperts.**com Do a search in Yahoo, not Google (in the search box) See how they've done the city pages.
There's some mysterious problem with the site, so the links may not work properly. But you can see the results in the SERPs. They work in the US but not in Australia, would you believe? Nah, no-one believes that.
They've got four and a half thousand pages.
Regards,
Laurie.
Australian Exploration and Adventure on Horseback and Motorbike

I'm working on the index page now. I cut and paste but Macromedia put a space between each line, lol. Thanks on the city page suggestions Laurie, I will check that out. Its funny that the spammer uses citycomputerrepair but always in the title the only city mentioned is dallas, lol. But yeah I will check that out. I was pondering that this afternoon. Still heavy into directory submissions, found a large list of nonreciprocals.
