After reading this: http://directory.sootle.com/directory-w … se-policy/
And another thread on this forum, I'm wondering if my putting asdsense in my menu to be compliant with the terms of not putting misleading graphics near the ads. Go here http://beatlesnumber9.com and scroll to the bottom of the menu on the left. Does this look safe?
I doubt it.... depends on how much money you're reaping in from adsense.
If practically nothing, then don't worry about it.

But, aside from the money let's decide if it is against the letter of the TOS. Would this be considered against their terms? Let's put it this way, I've been warned once for not following the terms (which had to do with joining a traffic exchange) and I don't want another. Where can I email AdSense? Might as well go to the horses mouth. But other's opinions are important to me too.
Your 'ring' is a blatent attempt to earn hard dollars... not something they want to see, and the warning is justified.
But in this case, it's pretty blurry. Like I said, it depends on your traffic. It really isn't like you have blatent text and images pointing to the ad's.
I think what G is trying to say is avoid anything that involves mass generation of revenue. I know what you're getting at tho... you wanna know if something like that is ok for some other site that you have.
It may depend on the layout - In this particular case, I just wouldn't think it's an issue, as the ad is waaaaay at the bottom. Not exactly an in-your-face-click-here kind of set up.
Now, lets say you have the same image, on a another site, with the adsense right smack in between the users eyes every where they go. My guess is, yeah... thats a problem. In a round about way, you're asking for a large percentage of your traffic to click on the ads that they can't seem to avoid.

Good answer, though you're a terrible mind reader. I joined a couple traffic auto surfs years ago before I even had AdSense. I didn't know it was against terms, they pretty much sucked and I was glad to get out of them. I actually do not have another website either. This one I have is a handfull and I'm quite happy to be able to make some money doing something I like. There's no other secret agendas or slick underhanded things going on in my cyber world. Just a simple question. Thanks for answering.
