Shweeeeww..... (wipes forehead)
I was reading your post, and thought you were all pissed off at me! hahahahah
Anyways, I'd love to, if I was ever able to get down to the Texas area. Or you could mosey on up here to South Dakota.
What you got down there... Bass region, isn't it?
Primarily walleye here.
Just to make ya more jealous.... the boss is taking us to a guide on lake Erie in May!
eh... maybe I shouldn't have said anything. hahahha
No MrStitch, not you, I just got a little offended at others telling me how to conduct business, lol.
Never had Walleye, SCARED of the Great Lakes. I actually hail from Lake Eufala area in eastern Okla. At one time was one of the largest damns in the world at like 12th; don't know the rank now. HUGE fishing community, may be a good target for you actually, lots of guided fishing tours.
Well, they target Bass mostly (Ok and Tx generally have the same fish). Of course we eat a lot of catfish and they get up to about 170-80 lbs. at Eufala but the meat is too fatty for eating, the best size catfish are just a few pounds. Also alot of what we call crappie and others call brim; small fish but very delicious and of course we fry everything.
But Bass come in different hybrids, small mouth, big mouth, stripers and all delicious (fried of course with hushpuppies and coleslaw). Most of those guys up there actually use artificial bait but worms are available everywhere for bait of course (don't believe even us Okies eat worms contradictory to popular belief). Large artificial lures for of course deep water for those with boats and shore fishing with generally, red, white or black jigs sometimes with gold spinners.
I haven't been fishing in years and have been told in Ok and Tx that fishing results are way down probably due to drought. South Dakota! I did not realize you were up there. I guess you guys ice fish?
Here is one for ya'. Do you know what noodling is? No fair Googling for it. There is an hour long documentary that has been shown locally down here about the sport in Ok. If it shows again I will try to get a recording for you so you know what you are missing and can learn about the culture I grew up in up there....the ole boys in Okieville are a trip at times.
LOL

Well, Yo,
The last thing I want to do is upset the apple cart. I've taken quite an initiative here: I've redone your home page and made a css file to drive it. Not trying to tell you how to run your business, mind you, just responding to your stated desire to build your site in css.
So:
1) I hope you don't mind.
2) I hope you'll want to use it.
3) This will give you a good start at learning css if you choose to go that way.
You'll see that I haven't compleated the banner and haven't done anything with the footer.
I don't understand the drop down form so I've left it pretty much as is. You need to remove the table and get it working from css.
So if you'd like to take a look at the files, send me an e-mail from the link at the side of the page and I'll attach the files to a reply with further instructions about using the files.
Regards,
Laurie.

Oh man, Laurie -- haven't heard that term in a long time; being raised on the Texas Gulf Coast, did my fair share of that!

The only noodling that I know is scrounging around disused opal mines, looking for anything that may have been missed.

Laurie.

Noodling on the coast is related to fishing for me -- kinda like your noodling.

Might have been my comment about giving it a few weeks before designing for others, that derailed things.
If that's the case, sorry about that, Greg.
Usually, when I type a stylesheet url into the browser, my computer loads dreamweaver and displays the stylesheet.
That time a decent looking web page loaded in the browser. http://www.pcvirusdoctors.com/pcvd.css
Never seen that before. But, then I've led a sheltered life.
Kudos to you Laurie for the effort to steer things in the right direction.

Noodling is crazy! Ya might find something you weren't expecting down there, like a huge snapping turtle or the creature form the black lagoon (he hides in holes in the water and waits . . .)
thegreatyo, ya ain't mad at me are ya? I ain't mad at you, just a little prespective though, it's kinda like us calling you and saying my boss is too cheap to pay you to fix the computer, can you tell me how to do it?
We don't mind helping, that's why we're here. So don't be mad alright?
As a matter of fact here's an SEO tip for ya:
Put an "absolute" text link with your #1 target keyphrase on the bottom of every page on the site leading to your domain name (http://www.pcvirusdoctors.com/ not index.htm).
I fish too, here in FL we have "snook" they are a challenge and a blast!
Unfortunetly we've also had several years (with a month or two break hear and there of red tide, that's pretty devasted all fish stocks for the mid to south of the west coaast of FL. I haven't been fishing in almost a year now.
No point, the only fish you see are dead and the red tide burns your eyes, nose, lungs. Now that the red tide is at low-no concentrations (until the weather warms back up) the fish just don't seem to be here any more from the reports I'm getting...

Well, I apologize, I am just being such a scrooge during the holidays. I am just struggling with the tutorials, too much too many. I believe the best learning for me like Steven suggested is to get a book and do the lessons. Some things I can learn on the computer and others I cannot so easily as I am just figuring out. AND, coding...geez, my first and only programming class in junior college, I found out that was not the path for me.
And thanks for the extra help everyone and especially Laurie, I really wasn't asking any one to code for me. But heck I will take you up on the CSS and learn more as I go along. I am going to be out of touch for the next couple of days getting this beverage catering stuff over for New Years (AND very possibly a 45 mile bike trek tomorrow, 22+ miles each way, may very likely have no other alternative). It is the way home that scares me; in Dallas and yes I will be feeling 0 pain.
So until next year, thanks for all the help, Cheers and God Bless.
