Would like to make a suggestion for a forum just on "Domains"...where members can discuss/share tips about domain, like parking (where and how etc) .. Domains for sale..Tips for picking Domain names etc...
Thanks for your time!
Good suggestion, briguy -- did my post pertaining to that not help you?

If you are referrign to this one..http://forums.site-reference.com/viewtopic.php?id=4487
It sure did and again a great tool...thing is I am researching things like "parking domains" ..buying and selling domains... I would like to increase my Internet income, in other areas than Adsense, adbrite, referral links etc..
Okay - let me ask you this; does your Host have a Reseller plan? There's places to find domains for sale all over the 'Net.
Not really sure what you are asking..I am currently being "sub-hosted" by someone I know!
and I went to my Cpanel and I do have this
Parked Domain Maintenance
Domain pointers allow you to "point" or "park" additional domain names to your existing hosting account. This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the "parked" or "pointed" domain into their browsers.
didn't find anything on a reseller plan, but I did send a support ticket asking if I have a reseller plan..

Briguy -- carefully read thru this
Thanks for the link...my situation is that I been coming lot of links like that one, some are informative,
some are content driven sales pitches (every link is a affiliate link), some are controversial, some are out dated or just written in latin!
So basically when I read a thread in a forum, I can check out the authors profile, PM the author with questions get a response and send another question....That the main way that I learn!
I just figured that after I did a search on this forum for "domains" and "parked domains" that maybe a forum on "Domain" would be something for the "power that be" to dwell on
thanks again

Might be slightly redirecting your idea, guy, but, it's only a degree or so away from your suggestion, with more info you might not know included, and your opinion wanted.
Site Reference is updating and broadening their horizons (please take their survey mentioned under every forum topic, if you haven't yet...and, no, I don't work for SR
) In that renovation is a seed (possibily a seedling by now) of an idea about offering info like a university -- with teachers and students. I personally am picturing virtual libraries and virtual classrooms, but, again I'm just dreaming.
That being written, I love your idea about adding a forum for Domains -- but, am wondering, between you and me, and anyone else joining this conversation (just in case you don't know, I'm the Number One Noob here, lost on most aspects of online presence, so I usually give thoughts and ideas based on being a web user, not an expert, so please don't think I expect agreement at any given time) could your forum idea also include hosting, or should there be a separate section for hosting questions and problems, too?

Personally, I would like to see an "all encompassing" forum about "domains"..Kinda like if you "have a domain related question..post it Here!
In all fairness, I think that any and all domain questions (in regards to this particular forum), would best fit under SEO Techniques and Tips.
Not to often do people have questions concerning domains, and when the question is asked here, it's only about finding a cheaper priced hosting service, or SEO related questions.
We get like, what.... maybe 5-10 questions a month?
I would think that the separate section would really only benefit those who are trying to SEO their hosting solutions with a place to drop their links.

Actually, naive enough here that outside of my extremely Noob question about domains and hosting in another section of this forum, the sum total of everything I knew could be asked about domains was covered by Mr. Stitch's response. Never knew about parking, and still don't know what other tips could be covered. Since you sound like you want the section divided up to encompass everything related to domains, what would be the subfolders your dreaming of for that section of the forum? This intrigues me.

Think 'Domains' is too small a topic
could be sorted out in one post, or by specific questions
eg:
What is a domain name?
where can i get one?
what do i do once I've got one?
what's this 'hosting' thing you mention?
TLD.....eh?
what SEO benefits can be had from different domain names?
