I appreciate your help today, I hope to get all of these issues corrected soon!

Yes, there are many descrepancies.
The first portion of your reply is of a site that belongs to someone else who apparently owned the savedeborah dot com site prior to me and has failed to update their page. And it is now pointing to my site.
The second portion of your reply is of my old page that I have not figured out how to take off of the internet, as I have made several updates, but I plan to have those corrected by this weekend.

Lastly spamming, what are you referring to? I have not attempted to sell anyone anything in my posts, nor have I requested anything other than a review nor have I solicited anyones email address.

I am new to the website buildng world and I need all the help and advise I can get.

Please clarify for me?

It happened to me

I offer a 'revenue sharing' group of sites where people can add their own content and get a slice of the advertising money - they give use their AdSense ID along with the content so they have the chance to make some money.

One of our first members decided to just keep clicking, clicked 134 times, 67 times on his adverts, 67 times on ours. A total of about $70.

His AdSense account was banned
Our AdSense account was banned
The money was deducted from our account ($35).

However, we log everything and were able to put a case to google to show that it wasn't us.

Our account was re-instated

We didn't ask for the money back as this was definitely a case of click fraud / invalid clicks.

I've now updated our click tracking software to stop displaying AdSense to a specific IP if more than so many clicks are detected from that IP on that page in a given time.

If any of our members are caught clicking on their own ads then we stop showing AdSense to their IP for the whole site for a given time.

Seems to be working
No one's complaining

My adsense revenues have gone through the floor from your site!!!

Just kidding mate, actually making a few quid from just 2 articles.
I was wondering all about click fraud on your site, as Im hoping to get abit of a syndicate together (with your permission of course).
I was alittle worried that someone could destroy it for everyone else.
Now Im not worried at all.

Thank you for the link, Fred. I found the article interesting, and will try to employ some of the given advices.

In his tread Burta confirmed my estimate traffic numbers necessary for getting a decent revenue. My estimate given previously in this tread:

. This guy (Burta) earns $3,200/ month with 7-9 thousand visitors/day. Summarizing his and mine calculations, our Adsense income comes to approx. $0.013-0.015 per visitor monthly. Obviously, the CPC was about the same for both of us.

On one of our travel sites we get around 300 visitors a day, producing around US $300 a month, and a similar figure from CJ.

As to the CJ (Commission Junction), as well as the LinkShare, my own experience with them has not been a good one so far. It looks like I placed the right ads in the right spots, provided a lot of text links besides banners, provided many thousands of impressions/ month, but the average CTR (click-through-rate) has been around 0.5% for both of them within the last few months. Comparing to the Adsense's CTR of 5% on average, CJ and LinkShare are failing my test, and I am seriously thinking about switching all my site's advertising space to Adsense.

Your welcome mate. I really like the template he included. For me the graph of his income wasnt showing up yesterday. I run a few adsense sites and most of them do pretty crap. I started sending some adwords traffic to one of them and it has really skyrocketed the adsense revenue and the affiliate commissions seem to be coming in too. Its a really dangerous game because I feel I am spending cash up front and have to wait like 60 days to get my cash back from affiliate companies and adsense.

I hate the cashflow issues involved with affiliate. But I think if I can start getting the natural traffic coming in then it should do a lot better.

I don't understand how can you profit from sending Adwords traffic to sites with Adsense? In my industry you have to pay anywhere from $0.20 to >$1.00 to be somewhat competitve in Adwords. So, an extra visitor (not necessarily a clicker, just a visitor!) would cost me at least $0.20. If I get an average monthly income of $0.013 per visitor, I would definitely lose this game. Unless, I am in a super profitable affiliate partnership. Although, I know that even gambling affiliates with their relatively high visitor/ buyer rate are often disappointed with Adwords.

Well , I am banned on the same note... I didn't do clicks myself... but may be the domain was blacklisted prior to my adsense account, but they gave me the mail stating banned because of invalid impressions and click...
I was unable to see any cause of this happening. My website generates just 15-20 visits per day as per my google analytics account. The users come from every part of the world, I have not even tried ever to generate invalid clicks or impressions and I fail to see if any unusual traffic or click activity has been there. My daily earnings from adsense are not even a dollar a day, I am shocked on getting my account disabled. I have never tried to indulge in any false practices. according to my statistics my site also hasn't created any unusual traffic.

Ya I did, they said that my account imposed threat to their advertisers so they can not re instate it...
Now I am really pissed of as I am banned for life... am currently applying adbrite on my site and looking for some ad serving program that allows me to publish ads. I am not eligible for most of the services as i am getting less impressions... about 10000 per month and even less sometimes...
I am mainly earning from CPM's , their are just two ad clicks in my last month, adbrite is poor in contextual ad serving.
Any idea which programs can i apply on my site?

it's very similar to Adsense..only Yahoo (so yea its free)

I took another look at your site- like TheGypsy said in another thread it is kind of chaotic...very disorganized and even hard to read (the text on the background is too confusing)

I like your theme, the funky apperance and all, but if you really want to generate revenues from your site you need to keep visitors on there long enough for them to see the ads and i fear at this stage you can't.

I know you didn't ask for my opnion but at this stage i would consider redesigning your site to have at least a clear navigation and easy to read text, then worry about what ads you will place

just my 2c
