Wondered if there could be a quicker way to delete PMs?
I've just been through 40 (20 received, 20 sent) - it took 3 clicks and 4 page refreshes to delete each one. could you add check boxes to delete several at a time?
Or put the confirm delete button at the top of the message as well as underneath it so one doesn't have to scroll with the longer messages.
i know this is a minor point, but thought i'd mention it any way

Good idea -- a few months ago, I had 9 frigging pages of messages and it took me several hours to get rid of them ... now, I clean mine everytime I have a new message.
good point....let me snoop around to see if there's a script, if not we'll try to make one

if you put a checkbox next to each message called delete (<input type='checkbox' name='delete[]' value='id' /> - the[ and ] make it an array capable of holding several values) and give each one the id of the message, the post array will contain an array called delete with the ids of all the selected messages.

I know it still requires a little scrolling but there is a link at the bottom of the messages page that will let you delete multiple messages.

Its not very intuitive, but...
If you goto your messages and scroll down to the bottom of the page, in the lower left hand corner you'll see a link to delete multiple messages...

Hmm...Now that I look at this....Do mods have unlimited PM space? I thought I used to have a storage quota...I dont remember....
If you do, I can certainly load you up -- such a shame to be so young and have a bad case of CRS already...
Wow... didn't know you could edit the code right here.
In that case, I have a suggestion (unless I missed it somewhere) - Looking for a checkbox to send out an e'mail to me when I receive a PM.
I took that for granted until I no longer had the option....
