Joomla has just been too complicated for me......I tried and tried again....the next time is going to be my fifth...the thing is I see the potential but I keep getting errors. I can't even get the search engine friendly urls to work
Sounds like a problem with the .htacces file... it usually screws up the SEF URLs.... you can get in touch if U need some help...:0)
Joomla is the way to go! Dave will sort your site out in double quick time too -
It can be frustrating sometimes with Joomla - you install something and it doesn't work. I have found that if you uninstall ot and try again, it often works. The best thing about Joomla is that the problems you and I run into have generally been found and fixed long before we get there!! The support is very good.

Hey John... Get back to work on those articles M8.. damned slacker ( ha ha ha ha)... this is part of MY work everyday... jeez... ha ha ha
...and yes the Joomla Forums are great... and very helpful.
While we're on Joomla, hackers find sites to hack by using FOOTPRINTS. It is always a good idea to strip down the admin page so there are not references to Joomla ( http://www.vervedevelopments.com/administrator/ )
It is somthing we are doing with all of OUR sites and client sites

Hi, First time I heard about Joomla, was in a comment you wrote a while ago. There was a webdesigner who didnīt know well about the payment for his service( a website for a musiclabel), remember?
Your site really impresses me and I had a look at your source-code:
The Joomla 1.0.11 uses <h3> tags for headings of columns (for example: main menu = <h3>,...)
Your site uses <h> tags for heading of the articles, and I think this fits.
I found out, the usuage of <h> tags in Joomla isnīt very difficult, but needs some extra-work.

Ahhhh I format much of the content B4 I put it into Joomla actually. So I would likely be adding them manually. I am sure there is a WYSIWYG editor for JOS that has it... I just don't use them ... old habit I guess.... been coding for nearly 10 years ya know... old timer
Also, if you cut-and-paste from WORD it will carry over the MS Tags... not good...the CSS should be taking care of the formatting
There are many different 3rd Party Editors for Joomla... one may have that functionality....
