Hi there,
I want to setup a cms but wich one is the right?
...Joomla? Mambo? Typo3?
aknet
Check with your Host -- I found "PostNuke" to be better; maybe they already have it loaded for you in your CPanel ... beyond that, Joomla seems to be the main choice these days.

AGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH
To start with Joomla IS Mambo... they split from the 'sponsor' last fall and the whole Open Source aspects moved on to Joomla
Now... Typo 3 is real tough as far as the learning curve and PhPNuke ..well... too limited and not as well set for SEO
So.. It's Joomla man...all the way !!

I use Joomla on ALL of my company and personal sites. We are also well ranked for and do a TON of Joomla work. We have been toying with many different CMS apps over years and settled there
More add ons for Joomla you say? http://extensions.joomla.org/

You might find this site interesting

You can try out various different CMS, they're already installed for you to play around with so you can see what you like or dislike about the choices before you commit to work with one.

Ever tried Typo3 TA? Real user friendly..uh huh...argggg
That's why we settled on Joomla for clients since it was powerful and flexable while still not TOO intimidating to NON webby customers...
I used to work with Mambo as well until it moved to Joomla... playing along ever since... about 3 years now.. since Mambo 4.0 or so I think... soo long ago

I have tried Xoops, PhpNuke, and Joomla. I sticked to Joomla. Haven't got any serious problem whatsoever, just yet. Hopefully, I won't.

I knew you'd say that ... yes; I d/l all of the files to my server and played with 'em -- guess I'm getting tired of trying to figure out WHICH php files to massage.
