... so itīs all about having an active Google Account with your websites added to it in order to be able to receive such notifications from the Google "Quality Team", just in case... ???
No Thorsten, no need for an Google account. Google "QT" sends email to the most common email addresses for domains like:
webmaster@your-banned-domain.com
contact@your-banned-domain.com
info@your-banned-domain.com
and also to addresses they find on your domain.

Hi Gergor,
I must admit this is new to me. Since when is Google acting so fair and open minded (at least in this regards...?) - All I knew from the post, I mean past, was hearing they just banned sites and you wouldnīt even know.
But I have no own experience with that. Never had one of my sites banned so far, trying to be as white hat as possible... ( Iīm a Good Guy
)
Ok, for the people who might want to know.
I received the google letter that my site will be banned from the index for 30 days on 20/11.
On 20/12 my site was back on index and (GOOD LUCK!!) back to #1 where it was befor the banning.
This was a really bad month in the history of my site.
- The daily visitors went from an average of 900/day down to 250-300/day.
- My bookings (car rentals, holiday home rentals) from 2-5/day down to 0.
Please learn from my error and do not try to hide keywords or fool google in any other way.
Read the google webmasters guidelines!!!
- Google rules!

Hello,
If you get banned, the "Google Search Quality Team" will send you an email telling you your site will be banned for x days because yxz reason they found while indexing your pages. They explain very detailed why you've got banned and after you corrected your "error" you must go to a Google page (find link in the email) and confirm/explain that you corrected the "errors" and want to be re-indexed again.
My site was up and running 6 years without any changes to the homepage (the "error" was there 6 Years!) and was #1 for the main keyword for nearly 3 years.
Does anybody know if after the time (30days) the re-indexing is fast?
Any chance to get back to #1?
I really had a good extra income with banners, Google ads, and such and see it shrinking like ice-cream in the sun. Doesn't it fear you too how everything depends on Google??!!
sounds like spam to me.
no, really - it does!

Hello Northie,
could you explain how you mean what you just wrote?
- Who do you think is a spammer? Me? Or the person(s) who sent me the email in the name of Google Search Quality team and than managed to put my site off the google index for 30 days?
I don't understand what you mean. Sorry to bother you.

sorry,
it sounds to me like you've been spammed - that email, 'google qt' et al, looks like a spam email

OK. First I thought it was a spam too, my second thought was - it is a joke, but following the links in this email I found it was not. From the moment my site went down from google, a text showed in my google webmaster tools overview for this domain more or less repeating the email text with the same link to the from where I could/should/must write a statement about what happened and if I solved the problem.
So this was absolutely real and far away from being spam (unlike the 1400 spams I receive daily

The website Roxanne used seems to only create html, although i can get an xml report....
I don't remember what link I provided, but here is the best I've come across:
http://gsitecrawler.com/en/download/
I'm using it currently. It's a program that you download & use locally on your machine & it generates a sitemap.xml for Google & a urllist.txt for Yahoo
Back to the subject at hand...being banned....
I purchased a domain that used to have only adverts on it, and that is probably why it is not indexed by Google. I see the Googles cache of it is another site entirely so that makes me think at one time it might have had a redirect.
Anyway, I submitted a reinclusion request (via google webmaster tools) a few days ago explaining the situation to Google and was wondering if anyone else has done this before. If so, how long did you have to wait for a response?
