Total crap interface, nothing works, cannot put in new listings. No wonder the competition does so much better...
Suggest steering clear of Yahoo paid search.
I am asking for a refund.

Matte,
Are you on Yahoo's older PPC version or the new one they just started rolling out I believe in October '06? The way to tell is if your tabs across the top are "Dashboards", "Campaigns", "Reports" and "Account Administration", then you have the newer version. I was just wondering because I am still on the old version but heard the new one is supposed to be so much better.
I became a Yahoo Ambassador about a year ago and then was told I had to retake the exam again (which I just passed yesterday) because of the new interface coming. Then, we'll be moving to the newer version, I guess within the next few months.
Overall we've had much more success with Google but I was hoping Yahoo's new interface would be much more useful.

Is anyone out there on Yahoo's new Sponsored Search? If so, what do you think compared to the old one?

Yahoo has a certification program for their Sponsored Search, where you can become what they call Ambassadors. Once you pass the exam, you can put the special logo on your site where a potential client can validate your credentials (check out our site at this page: http://www.marketingsupportnetwork.com/ … keting.htm to see it). Then, you can market your services to clients and help them manage their pay-per-click programs and get referral credits.
For information on the program, go to Yahoo's page: http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/af/amb.php.
Does that info help?

An affiliate program for yahoo's PPC program?
Looking at the way it sounds/works, well, looks like it. Alas, it doesn't matter afterall. "kimsuz" passed his/her exam, so it's time to reap the rewards.
