Hi,
I have just tried to start promotion compaign with yahoo search marketing. The target of this compaign is to promote web site with it's services and products in Canada.

During registration i received following message:
Please note that Yahoo! Canada currently accepts only French-language Web sites and listings.
• If your site is bilingual, you will be able to advertise only the French version.
• If your site is in English only or any language other than French, please do not proceed.

Does it mean that Yahoo SM doesn't work in Canada for english web sites?
(The web that is suppose to be promoted is on english).

That is just freakin wierd - I haven't done any work with YaH Canada it that does seem strange...
Did you look at the actual directory for non-French sites?

Wonder if YaH's Canadian offices are in Montreal or something? ha ha ha ha... damned seperatists !!!!

Is yahoo saerch marketing like adwords/adsense?

I know that YPN isn't available in the UK - have to go through an agency
