I really need some advice about email marketing. I have found a bunch of solutions, but I am not sure if I must use them because of spamming. I found these:

Blast4traffic
Webtrafficmarketing
Activecampaign
Inetgiant
Verticalresponse

Or have you ever used anyother?

Hi there,

I use Constant Contact and find it feauture rich and easy to use..

It has good anti-spam features, good template options, opt-in and is reasonably priced...

I havent used the others so can't comment..

Which service you use to distribute the HTML email isn't nearly as important as where your list comes from and the methods used to gather it.

Make sure your subscribers opt-in for your lists and have a way to opt-out, then you will stay in the clear.

VerticalResponse is pretty good. I haven't used them, but I know other who have and like it. I've heard good things about Constant Contact too.

I use EmailLabs, we just switched from Campaigner. When choosing, it really depends on what you want to accomplish with your email campaign. I don't know if this is for you, your business or if it is a part of your business you are trying to grow.

As already mentioned, where and how you get your list is vital. It is unwise to send an email campaign to your house list without first sending a Welcome letter. In the Welcome letter, state your purpose and give them the option to opt-in to your email campaign. Be sure to promot your email campaign through your website as well, especially on the home page. Put a link to the subscribe page in the signature of your email and link it to your blog as well, if you have a blog.

I really liked constantcontact, its got a free trail. It was pretty easy to use and had a lot of features.

I have tried Constant Contact and another service, which I really like, called MailChimp (http://www.mailchimp.com/)

I dont use anything on a regular basis - I stay away from email marketing.

We are about to move off our inhouse mailing tool and try out a product called Campaign Manager to manage our 150k customer mailing list. It's still a relatively unknown quantity but it has all the makings of a great email/newsletter management tool:

ICANN compliant
viral marketing component
click tracking and reporting
integration options (this was nb for us)
etc etc

They have a big tourism client which made us consider them as this is our space, too.

As they are hungry you could probably cut a good deal with them. Tell them Perry ref'd you! That should be worth a few extra % disc ;-)

I really like listsorcerer, it is fully camspam compliant, in that it has all the needed tools integrated within. It will handle you removal requests, build lists from your pop3 incoming mail, allo subscribes and unsubscribes and best of all is lightweight and super fast.
