SR, (Hi there),
I notice that you changed from Google Adsense to Yahoo ads a while ago. Is there a specific reason for this?
How is the revenue comparison, any difference? etc etc

Well, Google isn't paying out all that well right now, and YPN has traditionally payed out quite nicely on an RPC basis. Also, I wanted to mix things up a little, play around with ad positioning, etc. It probably won't be a permanent thing unless they suddenly start doing much, much better.
So who do I like better? I still prefer Google's ads - I like their formatting better. I hate how YPN truncates the titles - they lose their effectiveness.

I see. It's a shame you're not allowed to have both on the one site, so you could compare a little better.
In fact, now that I think of it, it's a bloody liberty telling people "You can only use our ads if you agree not to use anyone elses..."

I got a terrible fright this afternoon!! I got a letter in the mail. Actually not a letter, it looked very much like a 'summons' and it was from the US (I only ever get cheques from there).
I thought, "My God, who's suing me..."
It was notice of my being identified as eligible to participate in the Class action against Yahoo for 'click fraud' settlement.
I once did some advertising thru Overture, who are now owned by Yahoo.
They shouldn't be allowed to scare people like that....

Why can't AdSense and YPN send a nice furry XML feed that site owners can style how they like.
There are numerous other providers that do just that, including nixxie in the UK who send out the overture ads
