First of all, any efforts taken to stop right-clicks are pretty much pointless. Even if you stop the idiots from stealing your actual HTML code, anyone with HTML experience could copy your setup by sight almost as easily.
Protecting your images is almost as moot, as print screen does a great job of getting those images quickly.
Stopping hotlinking is worthwhile though. I really like matte's suggestion. That's great!
Personally, I view encrypting your output is right about there with stopping right clicking and for the same reasons. All you are doing to yourself is adding overhead to your server, and you aren't stopping anyone who wants to copy your setup, as they can do it by sight.
And javascript encryption is pretty much useless, because the script to decrypt can be obtained just as easily.
So, unless they are hotlinking your images, just be happy that someone likes your design enough to copy it and deal with them on a personal level if it is causing problems for you or your services. Perhaps a little note about said person being a thief on your site is worthwhile if you are that troubled by it.
You aren't going to stop anyone with any of these techniques if they know what they are doing.
that was a really gud interpretation of idea. you are right tink. People who come to steal are not always novice to doin that stuff and probably they do it b'cos they know that.
until and unless one shalt copy your images you ought to sit down and relax rather than bulkin your head writin codes stopin right clicks or any encryptions as such.
once they get to theft of ur items, its gud to try the experts method that matte and you say tink.
so people its gud to stop worryin about it, i hope!
I thought the web was designed to be a free forum, where ideals, objects, etc could be shared. If you don't want your objects stolen don't put them on the web. If you want to be paid for your objects, code, etc. start a web business where people who want what you create will pay for it. The web should remain free! I am sure no one in this discussion has ever "right clicked" something and took it, right? Sure you have and many of you will continue to do so from time to time when you see something you like. You'll take a code or object and then keep others from taking what should be free in the first place, unless there is some type of copyright attached. Why can't there be at least one place on this earth where there are no barriers, no restrictions or people who are willing to move outside their comfort zones and share.

I wrote something in php that makes it look like the source isnt viewable.
still building this site take a look if you want:
http://www dot quids-in-uk dot com
Noticed that the full filesize is ~55kb, while the active text is just 12kb - does this create any bandwidth problems for you?
