Gee thanks.... I was going to say something, just figured I'd ruffled enough feathers with my Page Rank rants...lol
There is some merit and I want to disseminate it further actually. I am never against any viewpoint; it was more the tone and tenor of the piece. Sure, the ‘Truth’ is out there, I just don’t think that any one of us has that magic pill.
Also a ‘tad’ Wordtracker slanted. When it comes to data tools, I never use just one for any area. Cross referencing data is important.
As I said, I shall get into some point later, if anyone thinks I should. There are some ‘grains’ of truth. If this fellow is publishing on the web, it won’t be just here. So let’s look at the points and see what we come up with.
It can only serve to help others. No?

I went over the article in more detail, and upon reviewing it, I do have a few points to make...
- This is certainly not scraping the bottom of the barrell. If people only knew what horrible articles are submitted on a daily basis...its quite astonishing
- I agree that the author included some shameless marketing into the article. I should have caught that. The author is actually currently banned from submitting any more articles because of this (yes, I do ban certain authors who spam me with bad articles)
- A lot of the points in the article are good. Keyword research is highly misunderstood. For example, the number of results Google returns is not a good way to determine a keywords competitiveness.
The article did not deserve a top spot, but there is some good info in it, IMO...
