I'm currently working in a niche and what really frustrates me is when the affiliate manager is unavailable. Usually they are great at the begining to welcome you, but I've been constantly annoyed with the lack of communication with both managers that I'm [trying] to make money for.

So for the article I'd add number 11 RESPOND TO YOUR AFFILIATES EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS! For me from now on, I'll make sure of the availability and communication skills of the manager before I'll ever put their links on my site. It just makes doing an excellent affiliate site too difficult.
