I've noticed over recent weeks that while the number of links to my sites has risen consistently in Yahoo and Google, that with MSN it appears not to be moving at all. Still appearing in their search though.
Is there something going on with MSN?
Roger
Hi Roger
I have a relatively new site (2 months old) which I've linked to from another couple of PR4 sites. It's been crawled by GG and Inktomi and a couple of others but no MSN bot. I've found in the past MSN was usually the first to crawl a new site. So you're not alone.

Good news that it's not just me WendyAnn - I wonder why it is and if there will suddenly be a shift in their results.

I find that MSN still gives priority
to on-site facts. I have well optimized
new pages ranking high in MSN, even without
a PR is assigned.

You would think that microsoft would be the biggest and the best search engine.
Why does msn suck so bad?
DOn't they have throusands of nerds working in Seattle- don' they know how to fix their search engine so it is very easy and great to use?
Anna
Keyword stuffing your title and description tags sure seems to work well on MSN
It might hurt you on the other SEs though so I wouldn't go that route.
Really though they have got a long way to go.
I rank fairly well for my keywords for most of my sites but they still don't drive nearly as much traffic to my sites as Google or Yahoo.
And yes something very wicked strange started happening about a month ago with them, supposedly it was going to be straightened out in a few days according to MSN Dude. I sure haven't seen much improvement though. I see the MSN bot on my sites still but not nearly as much as before.
It's nice to do well on all three SEs but MSN I sincerely would not worry too much about.
