Filtering out adsense ads

Can anyone give me a how-to on filtering out lower-paying ads on Adsense?

Re: Filtering out adsense ads

Sure, just goto Adsense Setup >> Competitive ad filter and filter out any domains that you don't want to have advertised.

There is a cool website, Adsense Black List which has a list of low-paying advertisers.

Re: Filtering out adsense ads

I've noticed something with the large inline rectangle ads which I use - on some pages, 4 links show up, while on some 2 show up, so only half the square is full. Do you think this has any kind of effect on lower CPC?

Re: Filtering out adsense ads

In theory they are optimizing the ads to make you the most money possible (in theory).  So over time you should get the best ads possible.
