Re: Read This First Please

Greetings,
Cynthia here. I am new to the forum and thought I'd say hi.
I have several websites and blogs and keep way too busy most of the time.
Realize I'd very much like to connect with others doing some of what I am doing and a variety of other things in business and website building. I have much to learn and just really don't know it all.

Re: Read This First Please

Hi everyone:
Tim here just introducing myself.  I have one website and have been receiving the Site Reference newsletter for quite a while.  I thought I had better join so that I could keep abreast of that evil Google.
I need to keep current on what the major search engines are doing so I joined.

Re: Read This First Please

G'day Roxane.

I really like your avatar. I've been a black and white photographer myself till I got tyred of standing on a concrete floor in the dark for hours and hours on end.

There's a lot in the photo that sits with my style of photography.

Is that you in the image? Do you really smoke cigars? Can't say I like the image of an atractive young woman smoking a cigar, but it makes for a strong image. I see the same image on your website.

So, welcome to the forum. blinka

Regards,
Laurie.

Re: Read This First Please

Hi Laurie

Thanks for the compliment on my avatar.  Yes that's me in the image, but I don't really smoke cigars.  A friend of mine asked if she could take photos of me for her photography portfolio, and things got out of hand...let's hust say that's one of the tamer ones! haha

Yes dark rooms can become rather miserable...theres nothing quite like fixer fumes!

Re: Read This First Please

You will not believe the reason I have joined. I was getting the mailers from site-reference in my inbox from many days. But today I decided to visit the forum and liked the clean interface of the forum. Very user friendly. I don't know whether punBB provides this by default or you have modified the theme. But whatever the simplicity is great.

With regards,

Thanks Mandar.  This is a customized theme, and the software is customized as well, but punBB makes it all VERY easy to do.  I've been using punBB on various forums for probably 2 years now and have zero complaints.

Re: Read This First Please

except for the yahoo ads(which scroll down below my page) everything looks fine in this forum. why dont you use a banner type ad rather than the skyscraper, SR? does'nt YPN allows that?

Re: Read This First Please

Hello everyone-
Just wanted to introduce myself.
I have been working in the tsunami area of Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia since January 2005 and have been back and forth 15 times, just returned October 13, live in Irvine, California.
My wife Louise and I decided to continue working in Indonesia, and we started a handbag factory in Aceh to provide jobs and hope for a better future for the survivors of the tsunami that devastated Banda Aceh and killed 200,000+ Acehnese.
We have a ground floor opportunity to market these handbags, and so far it is working through word of mouth via home parties.
I would appreciate any comments, suggestions for our site.
Thanking you all beforehand.
